For this macro archetype, I think that Shildred would be much better than Big Merc. You could go heavier on the dark ritual side, but it also gains you life. Not to mention the combo where you can pay -1 your life total into Necro and then gain that much life X2 because you're drawing cards.

Greedy mana bases are easy to punish

Necrodominance being a leyline of the void effect makes my void helm of obedience deck very happy against people who play it

49:11 you say you should have bombed before playing Voidwalker to avoid getting it killed by Stalker. What if you first waste Bayou and go to combat if opponent floats mana? Then they can't activate stalker so Voidwalker then bomb is safe.

R2G2 why not waste the only land they had when otherwise tapped out, at 30:25?

In round 2 at 30:20 could you have just played cavalry then wastelanded workshop rather than hold up bowmaster? monolith was tapped so he had to top deck a 0 mana artifact or land and then 0-1 mana artifact to continue (which may be likely) but it makes it so the chances are much lower he digs out?

Land would still allow key-untap on the monolith for 3 mana, but I agree with this play. That said, I'm in no way an expert.

Because holding up Force does nothing to the lethal attack already on the board. He needed blockers.

I really wouldn’t be surprised if vexing bauble sees a ban after mh3 goes out of print. Locking out all the anticombo pitch hate while also being able to cycle for just 1 mana seems insanely toxic for eternal formats.

39:00 if your top card was exactly Dark Ritual you could've got there right? First tap wasteland to discard ponder/delver to the blood, draw into the dress down, cast dress down with one USea untapped, it shuts down the pings from the eldrazi creature, if it draws exactly dark ritual then you could cast that and bowmaster to ping the karn and not die to the lattice? You still have to solve the problem of ensnaring bridge somehow even then lol, but you weren't ENTIRELY dead

@@BoshNRoll Tony said it wins on Turn 1 75% of the time and wins with protection around 30% of the time. He just posted a new playthrough with 8 turn 1 wins in 42 minutes. I haven't watched the new one yet.

Jitte is also a very effective way to keep bowmasters off the table, gain life, and close out a game very quickly.

Too bad a better card that answers bowmaster already exists. another bowmaster 😂 seriously though jitte would be sick, if you just could connect with it against those opposing bowmasters, oh, and find a slot in the 75... I suppose there's reasons why jitte isn't played much.

What am I missing with cavalry? Seems like really really bad. 3 mana 2/3? Why not just play new black 1cmc Tarmo. I can’t imagine that Calvary card is any good.

Cavalry already has proven its worth in the past, it scales, it fixes draws, has evasion and (very important in a deck like this) lifelink, even better you are already playing dark rituals so you can play it on turn 1

I gotta say I prefer the previous intro music. I know this is the original but this one just comes out of nowhere all loud and in your face. I like rock music but I'm always caught off guard by how loud and sudden this music is.
