It was the lady -samaritan woman didn't give water because Jesus belongs to higher class and the lady was not, they didn't have contact with the Jews -Jesus tells to the woman if you knew me ( Christ) You would have asked me for the water for life (eternity) Then she asked water, then Jesus told her to bring her husband. She answered I don't have husband. Jesus tells her what you said is right, you had five husbands and the person now living with you is not your husband.
