    @91Abodi to facilitate the easy opening of the upper n the lower part during first trial closure. because if we don't it may adhere or stick to the stone or the ring.

    but instead of tin foil, you can use an alginate solution instead, tin foil is much more difficult to use. it's just more labor and time intensive to use tin foil
