+tropicAces They are already rapidly depreciating in value. Try selling a DVD on ebay now and you'll see the market for Blurays in about 2 years. I can't remember the last time I operated a DVD player. My entire movie and TV show collection is ripped, stored on my file server and available to stream to all my devices.

Most of the films being released weren't even finished in 4K but instead in 2K, so they're basically upscaled versions. I own a 4K TV so the only one I would ever purchase is Blade Runner.

I remember years ago I bought that as my 300th DVD because I thought that would be a fun silly thing, but also helped me keep track a little easier of my own collection. But then it got stolen (obviously with others, it wasn't just a really specific thief) and can't say I care enough about the film to pay for it again

+Dre FromRegal HMV in the UK puts numerical titles in alphabetical order (2001 being with the T's etc.). Always throws me off.

Yeah he’s got a serious amount of films but also a serious amount of shit ones. Not enough foreign language or great British films

Kevin Kwok False. Just recently he reviewed The Final Cut and said he "gets it" now and thinks it's a "flawed" masterpiece and gave it his *highest* grade of A+. He also said it's one of the most influential films ever made.

Chris I was wondering if you have seen Walter hill's "The Driver" (1978) its a great film which inspired one of your favourite film "Drive" I would really recommend watching it.

Backfischlol yeah it is really good found out about the film during a Nicholas Refn interview for drive.

+Sam Liz true. I never heard of the franchise until some KZreadr put it on one of his movies of the year list. Bought the movie for 5 bucks and I loved it. Felt very cool and unique and I dig Anton Yelchin. He's just got talent!

I buy almost all mine pre owned I have in my own collection 550 and withy wife's and daughters added it's closer to 800 individual movies. I pay about $5 or less with shipping included on about 85 percent of my collection . Sometimes you can win bids or purchase large lots bundles etc. Online pre-owned movies that are like new condition practically

Awesome collection, Chris. I think if I did a video of my entire DVD or Blu-Ray collection people would think I'm weird. Then again you have a few weird titles of your own.

V for Vendetta is awesome. You should review it. (Mainly because the A+ movies playlist needs another entry).

Am I the only one who finds it stupid that The Room, Howard the Duck, and Garbage Pail Kids somehow made it on Blu Ray before movies like Ordinary People, You can Count on Me, the first two Before films and Punch Drunk Love ever could?

It was actually a really great and fun movie. A brilliant emotional animated movie. It was nominated at the oscars for best animated movie

20:46- The way he begrudgingly says "I'm just gonna read these." is hilarious.
