Redd Foxx did that a lot. He helped out more friends than people know. He was really a great guy. The fucking IRS killed him. They put so much stress on him that his heart finally gave out.......(smoking 3 packs a didn't help).

Man Redd Foxx was one of a kind. He was amazing. RIP to one of the greats.

I don't care how many times you've watched Sanford and son you just can't get enough of it you'll always watch this sitcom over and over and over again for years and years

This is one of the few tv shows where every character on the show became iconic. They are easily identifiable

Completely agree. I’m 20, but I love this show. I have all of the seasons on DVD. I wish that my generation was more interested in this time period along with the music. May Redd Foxx, Whitman Mayo and LaWanda Page Rest In Peace. Amazing actors/actress. I will be sure to share the laughter that came from this show to my future children

Fred and Lamont were watching from the audience seats of their own set very clever how they set that episode up to include what is normally is not seen as a part of the episode itself! They just took Lamont, Fred, Grady and Esther and put them into the actual audience seats and put those two guys on the set.

I remember these..all of these and the original airings!! They were great!! However, it is unfortunate that certain parts of the original dialog have been dubbed over. It certainly was a greater time than now. People weren't so sensitive back then...not so easily offended. Anyway, thx for sharing the video. . .
