Jimmy Olsen in this show is honestly my favourite take on Jimmy Olsen. I just love how much of an unapologetic homie Jimmy is in this series. Him being Clarks best friend since college is a pretty neat reinvention of the character and makes his friendship with Clark all the more wholesome. Jimmy's fascination with aliens as an online conspiracy theorist is also a great way to incorporate Jimmy's Flamebird persona in a believable way and odds are all his theories are probably true since this is the DC Universe after where weird and crazy things happen all the time. I also love that Jimmy always knew Clark was Superman but chose not to say anything about it since he knows Clark and knows this was probably something that he was sensitive about and wanted for him to be ready to accept it. Jimmy in thos show truly is the ultimate wingman and best friend to Superman

The whole "I knew you were Superman, ever since we met weird things happened, but I respected your privacy so I just wait until you were ready to told me" thing has to be the standard for all the Jimmys of whatever series be it animated or live action or movies that will come in the far future.

The show didn't do enough with his friendship with Clark. Even though he was the most understanding with Clark's secret.

"Why do YOU think that keeps happening" I like going back and reseeing these scenes with the reveal that Jimmy knew Clark was Superman throughout the entire show because yeah bits like that make it clear that was ALWAYS the plan especially that sly smile he gave when Clark tried changing the subject.

@@mister_milkman how are they being that? Does this Jimmy do a disservice to the Jimmy Olsen name? Do they hate Jimmy as much as the writers did during the Golden age? Do you even know what that word mean? Does this Jimmy erase the old Jimmy? Take away the legacy that is Jimmy, is his character changed so much you can't recognize Supermans best friend. It is still a good show, and im excited for the next season.

Jimmy had a smaller role in comparison to Clark and Lois but he definitely helps make the show enjoyable in his own way

Honestly it really is a kid show. I’m pretty sure the reason they have it on adult swim is Becuase there was a lineup of shows CN had planned for older kids and teens but due to some Warner bros higher ups writing a bunch of shows off for taxes. So adult swim was able to salvage this and the new show from Gendy tartakofski unicorn warriors eternal.

Yeah I'm honestly happy to see a lot more black and Asian representation, but the world needs to do better with North American indigenous representation in main stream media. There are people trying and doing better, but it really isn't enough.
