Very informative videos! Just a beginner's question - why did we use WINDOW SUM to create the 'Doing Worse' boolean field instead of just doing simple SUM comparison?

Instead of keeping 'Us' (Central) constant and comparing against other competitors, is there a way in Tableau to enable the user to select who to compare against (essentially allowing the user to change who the 'Us' (central) is)?

Hi Andy - I found it. Is there a way of comparing selected regions rather than keeping Central as a constant? So can we compare east to west etc… many thanks

You could use two parameters. One for each region you want to compare. So instead of central, have a second parameter. Then the filtering calc would say Customer = Parameter rather than Customer = Central. Does that make sense?

@@vizwiz Thanks Andy - worked perfectly. I was wondering would you know how to transform this viz into a scorecard? So show sales value for the compared products? Thanks again

How about using a set for Countd(region)=4 and filter using the set to get only the products that have sales in all 4 regions ?
