I feel so excited that I actually kinda used something I learned recently while watching this video. In Japanese, some people will kinda fuse words together for quicker use. English has stuff like this too obviously like jorts but since most Japanese letters are vocally constructed with a consonant and vowel, "ya, ki, to, ri," etc., typically more of each word used. Gakusei can be a fusion of Gakuen meaning school and Sensei meaning a teacher, so this episode has specifically a school teacher out on the course. Also in Splatoon there's a mode called League Match, so they break it down to riiguma.

Fuck yeah, love the sweaty content! Full games even if it includs extended periods without commentary while youre thinking or whatever would be amazing!

I don’t think it’s a glitch so much on Hole 17. Because it’s uphill, the horizontal component of the ball’s velocity will be a lot greater than the vertical component. How much the ball rolls will depend on where in its flight path it makes contact with the ground and then the terrain profile from there. A similar thing happens on the dogleg par 5 around the water (can’t remember the Hole number).

That's the logical explanation, but the launchroll glitch has nothing to do with physics. You can take the exact same shot with power/aim/wind all variables being the exact same input and every now and then your ball will roll 80ft farther. Prime example is when you are on hole 10. If you have the exact same variables, you can land the 7i 1ft before the green or 1ft onto the green and it will roll and bite exactly as you expect. Yet if the 7i lands on the fringe first it will roll 60ft farther even though it carried 1ft more/less than the other shots. It'll roll 50ft father than if you used 3i same distance

It mostly depends on the rank of the lobby. If there are some infinity players you won’t lose for 2nd in S8.

Look up Elo Systems. I’m pretty sure it uses some modified version of that and considers each round as 7 separate games against your opponents. So 2nd is win 6 and lose 1. If you are projected to score 6.5/7 because you are so much higher ranked than your opponent, then you underperformed by .5 so your rank decreases. Meanwhile, if you were only expected to score 3/7 and you finish 4th (won 4 lost 3) then you over performed and you will gain. Basically if you are in S8, you have to perform at an S8 level to keep your rank. If you perform at an S4 level, you will go down, even if that is 2nd place.

@@chammy2812that’s pretty much correct, but the game divides it by 8 so you gain much less rank. If you beat a full lobby of S9s, you gain the same amount of rank as beating a single S9 in tennis.
