Upstart is a really expensive card though. Only degenerate combos and Sky Strikers play it,and Endimyon with the "NO" machine fits the first category.

i gotta say, paradox could have used Endymions during his time travel quest to RUIN Yu-gi-oh of the past, A HUGE missed opportunity.

I played against these guys for the first time and holy moly: searching, summoning, negating, destroying all of those during my turn, the guy was doing more plays during my turn than I do even when my cards don't get negated

I love seeing sub optimal builds, especially when you see someone good playing them... it gives you better insight into the tiny features that a deck can do... plus it can be beneficial if you're playing an opponent that no longer knows what to expect

Im a drytron player. Don’t like the deck but I went it because I thought winning a lot in ranked would let me get a lot of gems when I first started. Shame I was wrong. Should have built my dark magician deck instead so rip. Granted this deck this guy is using looks fun so I’ll probably try building it myself

I am a Hero player so i lose a lot but boy when i win or interact with my opponent it is fun as hell. I understand the need of powerful-good decks but it is just a game and the purpose of it is to have fun not to just to win. So play whatever you enjoy guys. @@pwmueller1 yeah it’s what I gathered from looking around. This deck is competitive deck, but not as competitive as drytron, Eldlich, Tri brigade and all that fun stuff. I prefer decks that are good but not main stream not because I’m one of those edgy kids who has to feel that they’re unique or not following the crowd. Moronic logic right there that’s egotistical in my book if that’s your thought process. I’d prefer a tier 2 deck because it’s not as likely to get hit with the nerf hammer as a tier 1 deck. I doubt Endymion is going to get stuff put on the ban list any time soon.

@@johnziso2605 yeah go with whatever you want. Just avoid plat if you want to avoid the meta decks. I was lazy and stopped at gold 2 since I didn’t realize that it would reset so soon. Going to go plat once for that icon outline and just not go there again. Also if you want to get OTKed. Just run into a Gren Maju deck. Those guys can do it very easily if you aren’t careful.

Glad this version work so well, full potential Endymion deck has to be the most expensive deck on master duel, this was very creative, shows that you can play the deck or decks at so many ways, im still trying to get the spellbook Engine but man Is so expensive and we dont have events yet

I quit trying to get the Spellbook engine for now, was lucky to pull 1 Souls while I was assembling the deck, I wastd so many gems on it pulling the Endymion packs that I was without a ton of staples for a long time. But I finished the MB Endymion with all the Upstart and Chicken Game copies. It was all worth it, the deck may not be the best of the best but it can play against anything going first or second.

I remember playing Endymions before Electrumite got banned. I got a bad hand and could only summon 2 Jackal Kings with a Magician’s Right Hand. My opponent started the duel off with Super Poly and I just sat there and realized “wait, it’s negated.” My opponent said “you can’t chain to Super Poly” and I said “I’m not chaining anything. Magician’s Right Hand automatically negates.” He surrendered immediately after Lol

@@blastmole299: that is also correct. Pendulum effects activate exactly like spell cards. If you activate a pendulum monster in the scale, it operates the same way (which is why you get spell counters when they’re set in the scales). You can MST a pendulum monster’s scale effect and stop it that way exactly how you’d MST a Dark Magical Circle to stop the effect. And if Anti-Spell Fragrance is on the field, you can’t set any cards in the pendulum zones at all.

This is one of the famous returner scare decks, so good

The deck might look hard to play but once you know the cards and their playstyles it's really easy to pull a lot their combos.

Reading the effects of the cards isn't enough, I know all the effects, but the actual gameplay is so damn hard, it almost feels like playing DDD

That duel with the Phantasmal Spiral deck was nuts

this feels so nostalgic, i really wished we would get servant back to 3 in tcg

The last one with eldritch it's intense, holy shit

No joke I absolutely love this deck, have you ever considered rocking Sorceror of dark magic in there? Suuuper sleeper without a once per turn on trap negates.

Eeyup. Super Poly says you can’t activate cards in response. It never says it can’t be negated, so effect that negate but don’t activate can still stop it. Magician’s Right Hand is just like a HOPT Imperial Order.

Endymion, King of the Fortress of 16 Negates.

trying to build an endymion for weeks, this is literally a mass destruction weapon... need decklist asap

Got the full list made is there any chance you'd be willing to make a profile on the deck/its combos? Struggling to get a full grasp as there is a lot. Love it so far though.

When you defeat that Eldlich player, I got a climax. Literally.

Endymion is the best deck, but this build is an absolute disaster. I would replace 26 cards in the main deck and 7 cards in the extra deck, without a second thought. You must max out all the draw 1 spells because they are essentially free spell counters.

Chicken Game and Upstart are a must but sorry for not being able to get all the playset on time. Promise when I get all the expensive stuff I'll replace with what's needed. Meanwhile this is the best I can do using what i have.

I was thinking the same thing about this build. There are way too many cards that hold the duelist back. Also not running three Jackal Kings or Endymions is limiting the deck’s potential. Magister is a downright incredible card for getting a free negate on the opponent’s turn. It’s not slow whatsoever because the main goal should be to spam out negates (not to mention it can quick-effect bounce if you summon Reflection). And 3 Master Cerberus is not good. You can’t pendulum summon it at all. If you really needed it, you can add it with Abductor, Institution, or Electrumite.

@@PlaymakerYuGiOh I would not play any handtraps in this deck, I consider that trolling. Once you get your blue boy engine I would highly recommend playing magician's restage because it will greatly synergize with the magician's right hand which you already play. Abductor should be played at three and the draw engine is to be considered in similar respects to beastiary and citadel. Draw engine is played for the purpose of accumulating spell counters, it is not to play a boring 25 card deck but instead to provide synergy with a deck that revolves around spell counters.

@@shadowspector3611 I agree with most of your points, except about magister. This deck can quite simply just bring out as many negates as you have monster zones outright and magister sorta complicates the situation because it doesn't become a negate until you open up a zone.

Can we have a deck of Spellbooks and Endymions combined together? with Mythical Beasts if possible LOL. Since Crowley the Propheseer can help adding Spellbook spells into hand as draw engines, increase counters while able to summon Endymion once without tributing :)))

I love all the spellcounter cards though I would love to see an Endymion Sky Striker deck. All those spells and spell counters.

Good gameplay. That last duel you could have won on early if you link summon first then pendulum summon you can get up to three extra monsters, depending on the car.

You don't really need the extra deck with this deck, I have the super expensive version and I basically only resort to Electrumite if my hand is so bad that I'm forced to use it to get a play.

@@admontblanc An Endymion deck can _function_ without an Extra Deck. That's what I did for the Xyz Exhibition, and it was enough to defeat lots of rogue decks. But our ceiling drops much, much lower without either Electrumite or Crowley. I can understand why Electrumite doesn't come up very often for your particular deck list. You run a lot of non-Pendulum Monsters. But even in situations where you don't _need_ Electrumite because you already have your low and high scales, Link Summoning it means you can Pendulum Summon its materials right back, as well as the Jackal King/Endymion that Electrumite sent to the Extra Deck. After your Pendulum Summon, that's a +2 (including an additional negate) above what you would have had without Electrumite. Still, I love seeing Exemplar in there. My friend plays Endymion as well and he always techs in a Tuner because he just likes using Arcanite Magician.

@@diabloplays7925 I don't have his deck list, and he plays a bit more casually so it's not the most polished deck list. But the best Tuner for a Level 7 Synchro is probably White Wing Magician. It's a Pendulum Monster so Abductor and Electrumite can search it, and its Level pairs nicely with a Servant or Magister that's left on the field after resolving their Pendulum Effects.

Hey can I ask why people use pot of desires? Surely the fact it banishes so many cards is a BAD thing right? What if it banishes a card you needed to win?

This is speaking extra deck wise, wouldn't there be a way to implement Arcanite Magician (synchro monster) in the deck since the effect "you can remove 1 spell counter from your field, then target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target" is not once per turn and this deck runs a ton of spell counters?

@@toothclon I mean look through the deck, the only tuner monster is ash blossom. Meaning there is not a really good way to implement arcanite magician even if it was in the deck profile. I watched the video but noticed there was no real way to get it out unless you want to give up the use of a hand trap.

@@NathenTiger i think he made the deck with a higher focus on the main deck with a more supportive extra deck, so prob not many tuners that would work with the main deck monsters (cant think of any atleast), if you want to give some focus for the extra deck you d have to structure it differently prob or its just what he can afford for the moment

Can anyone tell me how I could use it correctly? I built it but I had to make do with one Maxx C Can I use 2 pots of riches as substitute for two pots of desires? How do you often use their effects in an effective way? What's the goal of each card? I only know of endymion from an old tcg card crusader of endymion so I'm new to it.

Hold up, did I see a Super Poly get Negated? But that's like Spell speed 4 or 5 or something like that, how?!

why did super poly got negated? I thought no cards can respond to it when activated? (I'm just a casual player whose background is only tag force games)

Magician's Right Hand did triggered by default before the Super Poly does (which is negated before even activated it's effect)

Isn't Secret village of spellcaster better than that continuous spell card that negates the first spellcard?

Yes and no. But to keep this simple, yes the field spell is better because it's easier to use.

There are more efficient ways to build it. This build is only able to get a maximum of 2 negates in a turn while builds like the one I have can consistently get 4-5 negates.

@@shadowspector3611 4 5 negates is insane. I'm trying to get a board like that but always end up with max 3 negates. Still learning the deck tho so any tips or combo pieces would be great! Cheers

@@erikvanderploeg9969: the thing with Endymions is that there actually are rarely any combos. With other meta decks, you have two or three specific cards that you’ve memorized an entire routine with, but with Endymions, it requires a complete memorization of every card’s effect and planning several plays ahead to see what the counters can end you with. There is one combo that works every time for me. It’s with Magister and little Jackal. The first thing you do is summon little Jackal and put Magister in the scale for one counter. Then you only need one more spell activation (which can be your other scale) to get three counters on your board to summon Jackal King. Little Jackal can’t be Veilored or Impermed when it’s effect activates since it tributes itself for cost. Also if Ash Blossom to stop it happens, that’s perfectly fine for the second part of the combo (since you can get it back easily). And also it’s super important to start off with little Jackal since the moment it comes out, you shut down cards like Ash or Nibiru. When little Jackal is in the extra deck, you can build three counters on Magister to get little Jackal and Magister right back out and put counters on each of them. You can tribute little Jackal for your second negate, and even if you kind of bricked with your hand, you still have 2 Jackals and a Magister with a spell counter, and during your opponent’s turn, you can summon Endymion with your Magister and return Magister to the hand to negate with Endymion. It’s a way to get 3 negates quite easily. If you don’t have little Jackal, you can activate Magister and then Institution to get a spell counter and then remove that spell counter for little Jackal. Also, one of the hardest things to master is the order of how to activate your spells. There are lots of time when you need just one more counter on a Servant or an Abductor since you need to remove counters from that card specifically. Magical Abductor is really good but it’s also not a hard once per turn. So you can use the effect to add and then use Electrumite to pop it and add it directly back from the extra deck. Then when you set it in the scale, you can use Magical Citadel of Endymion to search another. If you don’t have a scale 8 yet, you can search it so you can pendulum summon all your negates. Also if you’re struggling whether to activate Servant or Abductor first, activate Servant! As good as Abductor is, it cannot take itself out of the pendulum zone and can possibly cause you to lose the entire game if you’re not careful with how you set your scales. You can use both Servant and Abductor at the same time, but make sure you use Servant to get her to 3 counters so she can summon herself from the pendulum zone. It’s better to not have enough counters to resolve Abductor than to not be able to resolve Servant. And you can get the last negate with Endymion’s scale effect. It’s not difficult to get the counters if you’re able to summon 3 Jackal Kings and activate Endymion in the scale. Keep in mind you do need to pop at least one card when he’s summoned but you can pop your Citadel with one counter or your institution with at least one counter and remove that counter to protect it. Lastly, Electrumite can get you to draw a card during your opponent’s turn too. If you use Endymion’s effect to return a scale, then you get an additional card. I always try to set up my board with at least one spell counter on my scale for that reason alone. I’ve been playing spellcounters ever since they were released early on ygopro 3 years and I absolutely love Endymions (and spell casters in general). There are a lot more insights to how to use specific cards the best way if you’d like to hear them.

I was just used to seeing people try to set up with cross sheep odd eyes and appalouss first turn. But like you have to have a full board constantly. But these little insights help alot thanks alot!

@@erikvanderploeg9969: I’m glad to help! You only really need Electrumite. In a real life tournament, I used Endymion to return a scale and then activated Electrumite’s effect. It confused my opponent so much that he had to actually read Electrumite because he most likely never saw it happen on the opponent’s turn before.

That deck is too expensive orz. Besides, does this deck not need extra deck?
