Comparison of Turkish T129 Vs European Tiger Helicopter. What's better ?

Tiger
The Eurocopter Tiger is a twin-engine assault helicopter with four blades that initially saw service in 2003. It is produced by Airbus Helicopters, which is the successor firm to Aérospatiale and DASA's respective helicopter departments, and is known as the EC665.
T129
The TAI/AgustaWestland T129 ATAK is a multi-role, all-weather attack helicopter with two engines and tandem seats based on the Agusta A129 Mangusta chassis. Turkish Aerospace Industries collaborated with AgustaWestland to create the T129.

Aside from the good quality, whoever buys from Turkish manufacturers can count on a long lasting good relationship encompassing many other benefits without fear of possible sanctions attached to the sales like it's the case when buying from EU, US or CA. If you buy from those, you may or may not count on continued sales of the platforms or the ammunition for bad weather reasons like conflicts or shifting of political agenda. Türkiye will deliver with no strings attached. That's the difference.

Our country started to produce its own weapons because of these problems. Thanks to the embargo imposed on us, we acquired unmanned systems (plane/ship/land vehicle). We are actively working on long-range missiles. We have assembled an incredible team to produce aircraft engines. Many of our engineers who used to work in this field were assassinated and our progress was hindered and stolen. These do not happen anymore and we can produce them. When countries like the USA sell their systems, they apply restrictions with software so that you do not use them in places without its permission. Türkiye would never do that to its allies.

It depends on what purposes you want to use a helicopter for. European looks good also. Turkish T129 ATAK/T129 is specially created for search and destroy missions for the inaccessible areas where we cannot send soldiers. Also our police and and miliatir police using it now. During the day and at night nothing can stop him from detecting and destroying terrorists and their bases, there are movies about how such an operation works here on youtube. His heavier brother is now also on the way TAI T929 ATAK-2 has passed the engine tests and expected to be in the air soon and. T-629 is also ready and its a unmanned helicopter. Unmanned aerial vehicles, fighter jets and helicopters are important to us because over the years we have lost over 40000 thousand soldiers to terrorist organisations and groups from now on we will not lose any more soldiers only the terrorists will lose. Greetings.

The t129's ammo carrying capacity is much more, if you reduce the ammunition weight to the same amount as the Tiger and add a spare fuel tank instead, its range will increase. In addition, the maximum speed of the t129 is measured at its maximum altitude of 15000 feet, if the t129 makes the maximum speed attempt at 13500 feet, which is the maximum altitude of the tiger, it will exceed the tiger in speed as the engine will breathe more oxygen. In other words, the t129 is ahead of all comparisons.

If Leonardo and Airbus weren't such at odds, the AH249 program could have been shared and could offer a decent price to performance ratio. The A129 has been flying since the late 80 and could have been an excellent development base, but Eurocopter decided it knew better and we all know the outcome. The Apache is a good helicopter but it's both massive and very expensive, both to purchase and maintain: in Iraq and Afghanistan did not impress as it size as a target makes up for the additional armour: it was designed with the Warsaw pact in mind operating in a low tech environment like the early eighties central Europe, but today it's as vulnerable, as a design, as the Ka-52, not faring much better then the old Mi35 on the Ukrainan front. I'd rather be in a small but agile helicopter, protected against small arms, then inside a 16m coffin with a lot of metal to slug me down against manpads

Well, Australia has Tiger choppers, but planning to retire them. Read below: The early retirement of the Tiger ARH follows on-going issues with the European-developed helicopter’s sustainment and serviceability rates and issues connecting its Eurogrid datalink to other ADF assets and networks that have limited its operational utility. Finally, the Tiger has yet to operate off the Navy’s new LHD amphibious assault ships. “The Tiger has had a troubled history - essential upgrades are programmed to maintain the capability’s effectiveness,” the Integrated Investment Program document, which was released on Thursday, states. “Defence will invest in a future armed reconnaissance capability to replace the Tiger, which could include manned or unmanned systems or a combination of both, to be introduced from the mid-2020s.” The Army operates 22 Tigers, which entered service from December 2004, but the type has yet to achieve Final Operational Capability, a milestone that was originally planned for June 2009 and had been rescheduled to January 2016.

Therefore, this case is empty and boring. But I really like them visually. The designers did a great job and the EC665 Tiger and T129 ATAK turned out great. This helicopter is the hand of the Turkish army. In the harsh conditions in the east, mostly road access is extremely limited and very dangerous, while the Turkish army is constantly scanning the rocky steep region in the east with unmanned aerial vehicles, helicopters are always ready for combat and are used for transportation. While operating in the region with fighter jets is costly, it is much more cost-effective to operate in the region with helicopters and drones. The Turkish army remains active in the region all the time. For this reason, these machines are constantly being updated, attack 2 will be produced soon, the armament and carrying capacity of that helicopter will be much higher. Some sources write that attack 2 can transport 24 soldiers from one region to another at once.

T129 is a attack reconnissance helikopter. Which has lighter body, lighter weight and less ammunation to carry, with 5 rotary wings pals. Along side of those it has strong engine if you consider its weight. All of these because of envroinment its planned to use for is area with all kind of crosswinds and thinner air because of high altitude. At the other hand eurotiger has different motivation behind it. It's heavier aircraft with lots of heavy armament. Its just doesn't feel right to compare two different class and role aircrafts.

The TAI T129 Atak (Advanced Attack and Tactical Reconnaissance Helicopter) is an all-weather combat helicopter based on the Agusta A129 from Italy, further developed by the Turkish companies TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries) and Aselsan with the support of the Italian company AgustaWestland. In June 2014, the first three serial machines were handed over to the Turkish armed forces.

their design purposes are different. T129 is build for asymetrical warfare in harsh conditions and challenging geograpies such as mountain areas, valleys etc. So this is why it has higher maneuverability and better defence systems for air defence and electronic warfare. But carries less load and slightly lighter weapons. Because main purpose is not seek and destroy tanks or other armored vehicles but still capable to do it with Umtas guided missiles.

One notable advantage of the T129 helicopter lies in its extensive combat experience. This aircraft is employed on a daily basis in the ongoing fight against terrorists in Northern Iraq and Syria. I believe other than apache(ah-64) no other helicopter has this much experience.
