I love having my cup of coffee😉☕ watching good shots. it's a pleasure to watching Sunday videos. 😃 The only thing missing is the Simsek Hybrid which is a target annihilator. In my own experience with the Simsek Hybrid, I say that it is an all-time bow. And I already enjoyed it in the rain and shoots incredible. Thanks Armin for this video. 🤩🏹👍🔥

But good for bowmaker's business all over the world. :) I really liked the comparison and the statement that there's something for everyone. I was able to easily pick my favorite in relationg to requirements after watching this. Thank you for the work you put into this!

My favorite reviews are Sunday morning reviews, others at church and me with my coffee and Armin's review. Two bows stand out from that crowd. The Janissary which I have based on your review and I adore, it is such a fun shooter. The other is the Lukasz Nawalny bow which I don't have but is my dream bow. Thank you Armin for the very professional and in depth review, helpful for the undecided for sure. Have a great Sunday everybody💘

A wonderful review. This really gives the viewers an opportunity to see each bow in action, side by side and in the hands of someone who really knows his way around this style of bows. If you are on the fence about which bow Turkish style bow to consider, this video will get your juices flowing and soon enough you will have what you desire in your hands. Perhaps you will discover that you need a couple different bows from this selection! A wonderful review that will doubtlessly help to guide many enthusiastic archers! Thank you Armin!

There are some nice bows on that table and I would be proud to shoot anyone of them thank for the review.
For beginners in Turkish archery I can recommend the basic fiberglass model from Alibow. It was my first Turkish bow and I still use it as my low poundage training bow. The Monolith from Nawalny is beautiful, I wish it was available in higher poundage.
Great video! Thanks!
It’s good to see bows in rye various price ranges. We started with a 20# fiberglass bow with arrows and a quiver for $20 USD that I purchased from a yard sale.

I highly recommend the Teksek II by Numair. It is a really great bow, and for a very good price
You know, most of the time I'm listening to how the shot sounds, as I learned to weld by sound from my instructor, I deffinently listen to how things sound, all these bows sound different, and each sound has a direct relationship to the way they shoot, draw .. vibration..

Surprisingly well priced bows compared to alot of amarican bows. It's a shame you don't see many here.
Could one use bow fishing arrows for this type of bow? I was thinking to pick up the short sipahi+ by Simsek to begin learning this style of archery, but would also love to take this with me on river or lake trips for bow fishing. Would that type of arrow be too heavy for these kind of bows?
Love this one really like it a lot thank you very much but what about the kayi people they were at the top of the Ottoman food chain so I'm sure their bows were a little better
@ArminHirmer
3 жыл бұрын
What shall be with these people? Guess they are not around anymore, like the ottoman. As said I am not a historian and I can just compare what I have here
Would you agree that the poundage should be indicated at max draw instead of 28? Because if you say they are roughly the same at 28, they can be quite different at max draw, like the one ending at 28 and the other at 33 inches.
@ArminHirmer
3 жыл бұрын
Yes this 28” thing or rule is from Olympic I guess. Of course in my opinion the bows should show the poundage in their safe max draw
Herr Hirmer, Danke für ihre video :) eine hinweiss , While aiming, Your right hand should touch your right cheek and the arrow direction will be as much as parallel to your aiming line :) Mfg
What kind of thumb protection is that?
Can you explain why the F value is important? Istvans horsebow which is Turkish shaped does 33 inches at 46.276 inches with an F value over .713 or .7 if you get it at 32 inches.
8:46 - I see the string go through the arm and chest of the guy and I thought it was a bug of Matrix!

My impression off my Janissary is that the bow builder trying to get the maximum energy stored with the lightest stiffest materials. So if the energy is not let out to the arrow, it becomes noise. Because none of the material he used has any damping effect, it's loud. I made a range of arrows from 8-12mm pine sticks just to find out the difference, 12 mm is stiff as hell but performs best, not much noise, not very friendly to the target through.
