I know this is 5 months ago, but those acorns aren't from oak trees that are only 50 to 100 ft tall. The trees in that game aren't like trees today, so that's not even relevant brotha.

Well Simply, your gonna hate this, the real Campto (Camptosaurus) would be around the same size, if not slightly bigger than the Conc (Concavenator) or the Cerato (Ceratosaurus). The Campto in PoT is undersized.

Even if some dinos dont look much bigger in terms of height, the weight difference is still gonna be ENORMOUS compared to a human

Keep in mind; that alot of the dinos in PoT are oversized. So this might not be the best comparison for accurate sizes, Still a good video though it's cool to see content like this 👍

Considering the humans feet are a little sunken into the floor most of the creatures look like pretty decent representations. A couple are quite off though. Suchomimus especially was not nearly that large.

Sucho was huge dafuq They averaged 40 ft long, and so did Rex actually, the only reason we think Rex even got as big as we pretend it did is a single 51ft specimen

@@Tsaooyoh I admit suchmimus is larger than i thought it was off of the top of my head but I think you might want to check your numbers. Scotty is the largest rex specimen at 43 ft and is considered an adult. We don't have a good adult specimen for suchomimus but scientists estimate between 31-36 feet. The one in game is 40 ft which i guess could be obtainable for a freakishly large specimen if their growth is anything like crocodiles.

@@M0oseTacular known sucho fossils are only sub adult and were the same height as rex (12 feet). it was a 9/10 chance they got to 40 feet long, so who knows if they got taller as well

Though I understand that most of the dinosaurs are given a more realistic neck posture, most of them are really over and undersized. The most realistic sizes are Tyrannosaurus and Deinonychus. But everything else is really unrealistic in size.

I love how all of em are created quite close to the real scale of how they supposed to look like. and its just crazy to see that these dinos are massive

Most are either oversized, massively oversized, or undersized. Very few dinos, such as Deinonychus, Rex or Duck are very close to real size

i've been waitingggggg so long to see a human and dino size comparison for path of titans because saurian has one and it's pretty damn kool lol but yeah kudos man i love it! haha

I really wish that Pachycephalosaurus and their subspecies should be downsized, so that Pachycephalosaurus can stood 3 feet tall in the hips and 3.5 meters long, based on the skull size up to 2 feet long. Megalania should also be 3 feet tall in the hips, while Sarcosuchus was 4.5 feet tall. In short, I really want them to fix the scaling problems to make the sizes more accurate, despite along with the fictional subspecies.

Devs are pretty far off on actual weights also, which affects incoming and outgoing damage, ingame.

Is there a size comparison pic anywhere of each dino in its 4 growth stages? I'd like to see the difference and it's almost imperceptible to tell, ingame, unless you're standing next to the same piece of terrain.

ok so the thing is, while almost every creature is oversized compared to the human model, i think this is simply a fault with the scaling of the prop, as the dinosaurs scale very well with each other.

Would love another vid like this in the future when they release more creatures 🥂✌🏻

My brothers insist that there be a human mod for Path of Titans just because he wants to see Bob & Linda run between dinos. They've even come up with abilities like, Piercing Shriek to slow the opponent for 5 seconds, Pitiful Slap low damage, Barbarian Bite low damage small chance of bleed, and a few others😅

Fun fact: stegosaurus would pump blood into its plates for intimidation

PoT dinos are very oversized compared to that human model in relation to real life. But it's still really cool to see!

how do i get the creator objects to show up? i’m in single player and i’ve seen the model used in single player vids but “creator objects” doesn’t show up for me

this video is tricky because from what iv heard, Alderon altered the dino sizes from what they were in real life.

Campto is kinda under sized, and an ano is not an average size animal. You count size by mass (weight) and an anodontosaurus would weigh about as much as an rhino, maybe even more. While many dinosaurs are oversized in this game it is still cool to see. And the little raptor you mentioned is deinonychus a medium sized dromeasaur you should read more about deinonychus just because it did so much for how we look at dinosaurs today! Great video tho keep up the great work!!!

Campto in game is an average sized Campto instead of the largest size estimate, so I wouldn't call it undersized per se

Allo Is way oversized and they actually seemed to have sized it based on a possible relative, Saurophaganax

The only size comparison that was like, spot on to what it should be (because almost every creature in PoT is oversized), was the Deino, absolutely perfect size comparison for the Deino.

This game is a mind fuck. 😂 I feel like the environment makes dinosaurs look and feel smaller than they really should. For example I've been playing a metri a lot lately and I feel tiny but in reality they'd be pretty substantial. Imagine how HUGE everything from the farmable objects to the bushes and rocks would feel as a human. We'd feel more like an ant. 😂

@@UnitedWars No, the Allo is not gross oversized. I have seen the fossils myself. It was more than capable of reaching that size. "Big Al" in Utah is around that size. I have seen it in person

The majority of the dinos aint accurate to there real life sizes in the game, think lamb and bars were more or less the same size or one of the two were like 2 meters bigger then the other one
