Comparing the Pocket 4K with and Without an IR Cut Filter
While using an ND64 by K&F Concept, I compare the infrared pollution being cut out by the ICE IR cut filter.... just a basic $45 (USD) 82mm screw on filter.

Just on time! I am looking for IR cut filter. It looks awesome. I will just buy ICE one Thanks!

It's the only one I've tried but it was pretty cheap and it works!
have you left the internal filter on the camera or have you removed it to put an external one in front of the lens? Or do you have them both at the same time?

I have changed nothing from the stock camera internals. A common complaint on the pocket cameras is that they are very susceptible to infrared radiation. If there is any internal filtering it is quite insufficient... adding red to a lot of darker colours and especially black fabrics. So, I am comparing with and without an external IR cut filter.
Hi! This is just what I needed. Thank you! By the way, how did you stack them? Which filter was added in the lens first? Lens -> IR Cut -> vND? or Lens -> vND -> IR Cut?

I don't know if it matters, but since I kept the IR cut on all the time, that was the layer next to the lens, and then ND was layered in front of it.

Allegedly the first one should be the UV filter mostly to protect the lens of dust or water working outdoors and the IR Cut filter only for outdoors using ND filters. They don't need to be used indoors.
How many stops of nd was used?

6 stops (using an ND64)

@@pastamatt have you tried stronger ND? Is the Ice better than Hoya or just the same?

I've only tried it with either 3 stops or 6 stops so far. I haven't tried any other IR filters except this Ice one. It seems to work at a very decent price, so I stopped looking.
