Good review, thanks for the content. I’m currently on my 1st Harley - went with the 48 and love it!

I went with the 48 because they just looked so much better than the other sportsters. But yeah I would have to refuel every 80-100 miles

Nice overview of each man. For me the 48 tank is too small, the 883 lacks power so I’m all about the regular 1200. Well done!!

My Nighster has served me well over the last 4 years. Great bike to upgrade to from dirtbikes and I still haven’t put grown it! Maybe a low rider S next 🧐

Low Rider S is great, but there's something about the old school sportsters

Agreed that these are pretty good starter bikes. Once you get on a bigger bike though, at least for me, the Sportsters feel like a toy. Still fun to ride though. Got my Viking Bags in today that you reviewed in a previous video. Love the look of them on the Fat Boy and very functional.

Really can't beat them for the price. The the only hard bags that I found that I really like are from Harley for $900. Not looking to drop that kinda cash right now.

Good discussion on the comparison of the Harley Sportster line. Like you said I think it comes down to the riders personal preference. When I first started at looking at getting a bike again I originally looked at the Truimph Bonneville Bobber. I just like that chopped back end and it just had that cosmetic appeasing look factor I thought was good from a “look at that bike”perspective. However having to only get one bike, practicality had to win out and ended up with the Scout. Maybe the next one will be more of a looker. 🙂

The Scout is an awesome bike, probably the one I would've gotten if it was around the same price point of the 48

Man, you are really a fanatic for these things. I bet you're riding that 48 you got more than your Lowrider S. I couldn't even look at another Sporty to buy unless it was that ""touring"" model they made for a few years with the big tank, leather hard bags, removable windshield and all that. Even then it would be just to tear it down and build another scrambler. Probably spoiled with that Road King but I don't think there's a single thing a sporty would do better than my Road King *for me*. In all fairness I've thrown *a lot* of money at that RK in both power and comfort mods though. Hell, I don't even ride my dyna lowrider except to make sure it runs from time to time..smh. I dig it though brotha. The sporty mafia is real lol

I don't know what it is, but it's mostly all the feedback I get when riding the sportster. The sound and vibrations really make me feel like I'm riding a machine. But I like having both because when I get on the low rider I'm reminded how smooth and comfortable it is.

@@IronBornRider Yeah, I know how those m8's are out of the box. They're sewing machines. They really need a cam to get that old school harley feel, only problem is it's expensive AF to do properly. Those 1200 Evo's are definitely special and distinctive, and it's very cool you can still get something with that classic harley feel brand new off the showroom floor. For the time being at least...

@@BikesNThings yeah I'm definitely trying to save up some coin to get a cam on the LRS during winter. It's just so expensive lol.

@@IronBornRider With a power vision tune, some spicy cam, and a dyno tune from real professionals (not a stealership) it certainly ain’t cheap. I’d recommend a quick shifter too. I haven’t done a video on mine yet and there’s basically none at all on KZread about them either but it’s pure magic on the Harley. Perhaps I’ll find some time this week to do a little video showing what it can do. The units only a few hundred bucks and it’s disgusting.

@@chronotriggerfan yeah every now and again you'll see a cheap grom pop up. I'll wait for one of those. Also, Harley (and their owners) get a bad rep but I would say some of its well deserved. Never used to be a Harley guy until I rode one myself.
