Comparing Ring Spotlight Cam Plus vs. Pro. Tech Tips from Best Buy.

Today, we're chatting about the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus and the Spotlight Cam Pro. These are some really cool home-security cameras that are way more than your average cams. What's great about these? They've got built-in lights and color night vision, making them super helpful when it's dark outside.
Both cams capture in 1080p quality, giving you crystal-clear videos. And their advanced motion detection tech can alert you when there's some activity in specific zones you've set up. It's not just about seeing what's going on though: you can also chat to visitors from the Ring app through the cams with the two-way talk feature.
When it's nighttime, the two LED lights make sure you see everything clearly. And if there's an unwanted visitor, you've got a siren you can activate right from your phone. Both cams come in plug-in and battery options, and you control them easily from the Ring app.
Picture this. The family's outside having fun while you're indoors, maybe cooking or doing a project. With the Ring Spotlight Cam, you can watch over them without missing out on anything. And if you're away from home, these cams let you keep an eye on your place, giving you peace of mind.
Now let's talk about the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus and what makes it stand out. It's got 1080p HD video, advanced motion detection, two-way talk, and built-in LED lights and a siren. These features make sure you only get alerted about stuff you care about and help you deal with any unexpected visitors.
The Ring Spotlight Cam Pro shares many features with the Plus, but it steps up its game a bit. It's got 1080p HDR video quality and 3D Motion Detection that uses radar tech to provide even more precise motion alerts. This cam also lets you customize where you want the camera to start recording and gives you a bird’s eye view of visitors' paths.
The Pro model comes with improved sound quality, thanks to Audio+, and a more stable internet connection with dual-band Wi-Fi.
Which one to go for? Well, it really depends on your specific needs and how your place is laid out. The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus and Spotlight Cam Pro are super handy, easy-to-use home-security gadgets that give you high-quality video, advanced motion detection and much more. Plus, they can work with other Ring devices, so you're getting the full package.

In the Ring app there should be an option under the Devices menu for Light Settings to toggle the "Motion-Activated Lights" on or off. There's also an option to create "light schedule" to keep the lights on or off during specific times.

Batteries will stay powered with a rechargeable battery that swaps in and out without messing up your setup. Ring devices are designed to go months between charges under normal conditions. Battery life may vary on how long they last due to activity, weather and number of events captured.
