Hey buddy, hope you're enjoying your new blade, if you're looking for aftermarket scales I would try RC blade works or Sharp dressed knives thanks have a good one man!!
It’s about time someone did a video on all the differences of the XM18. You can have 2 identical blade shapes and still have different detents and action and lock bar tension. I still luv my Hinderer’s and still want more lol. Another great video N/K killing it 👍🏼... I need to get me a Shadow man

@@NeevesKnives Lmao 😂...I never thought I would buy 3 Hinderer’s but they are built like a tank next I really want to try a Halftrac they just look like the ultimate little big knife.
Ive got my xm-18 3.5 harpoon spanto on teflon Got the knife 2 days ago, i have fidgeted a lot. Worn in a bit, had to re-tighten pivot. (Yes i have loctite) Cant wait for the teflons to be worn in

I actually gotta try the teflon. Kept the bearings in for maybe a week, then installed the bronze, but haven't tried the teflon yet. The bronze a glassy, glassy smooth put a couple drops of NanoOil when I swapped them and haven't had to do anything since.

@@NeevesKnives yea I gotcha brotha. You gotta check out the Half Track, XM18 3in are too small for my hands but the Half Track is pretty much same thickness as the 3.5 so its a chunky little guy. I'd be willing to let ya borrow if you wanted
My first hinderer is the same as your first. 3.5 Spear Point stonewash with OD Green G10. I own 2 now, My second took a while to find, a Battle Black no choil Slicer with Carbon Fiber scale. I wanna try a Skinny Slicer next.

If you’re referring to the screws on the lock side, they’re so you can flip the pocket clip around.
Weird that these knives aren't all the same from knife to knife. Mine almost rips of the lockbar when i flip it...i'm sure they would fix it but i can't send it in all the way from Sweden. Good quality control is better than "good" warranty in my opinion.

They were a DLT exclusive. Metal Complex actually just sold his. Blade Forums, IG, or last resort Ebay. Unless DLT does another run. I got the flipper version wish I woulda waited for the non flipper. Thinking about modding it.

They are tough to get, the non flipper 3" is amazing, same with the 3.5 version but those are incredibly hard to find, so the regular 3.5 then

I have a couple now, I have 2 24s full titanium, 1 18 full ti with extra scales, an 18 skinny sheepfoot with fat cf, and also some 3s, and a half track. Wow I just realized I have a lot of hinderers
I wish someone would address how awful it is trying to find and buy one of these grossly overpriced things. I speak for the regular guy who goes to work bust his ass. These AINT FOR YOU AND ME GUYS. Mr hinderer expects about a weeks pay for you to own one of these. It's beyond frustrating. In fact. I should start a show and call it "F hinderer".
What you have to remind your friends after a night of drinking & now heading to the strip club... 17:23 You can't get no play outa this thing!!! 😂 *Side note because you asked* That black coating is a stonewashed black DLC or a Battle Black which is a working finish black DLC coating. If I would have known you were doing this video I would have sent over my Hinderer Gen 2 Eklipse tri-way for comparison.

Forget the Hinderer until they change the flipper tab who wants a knife that kills your finger a lot better choices
