Finally somebody who actually mentions the PC version of Shrek 2 as a separate version! So many people skip over it when talking about Shrek games for some reason

ihave to ask.. how many people are you talking to about Shrek games?

@@JohnnyVee007 I meant like in videos mainly. There are quite a few videos about shrek games and I so rarely see the pc platformer mentioned that it's like it doesn't exist

Finally. Flandrew covers the games based off the greatest movie ever made. It's all ogre now. It's Shreking time!

The wait is OGRE!
From Star Wars, to Harry Potter, to...Shrek? Naturally.
Something I really liked about the PC version were the secret Wanted posters that encouraged to search every level for them and learn their layout properly. I don't remember if they gave you anything for collecting them all, but it just felt GOOD getting to the next level knowing that you managed to find all posters.
These comparisons have quickly become my favorite video game coverage videos. I can't wait to see what you cover next.

If you like this, check out Lonely Goomba’s videos on “Donkey Kong” and “Mario Bros.”
Thank you two for making not only one but really fun and interesting videos! Brightened up this Saturday for me.
Hell yes I was waiting for this! Can't start a series on comparing different versions of a video game based on the same original material without eventually covering the Shrek games. There are SO MANY of them!
"Shrek 2 Activity Center" As a kid I felt like a hacker when I saw all PNG files in the game folder, edited them in paint and saw my edits inside the game itself 😂
Ahh, good ol shrek 2, one of the best films out there! Gotta love how the PS2, Gamecube and Xbox era were heavily involved with multi platform games and now back in 2022 I think we're getting more of that back. Keep it up @Flandrew, these videos are extremely cool!
I remember the PC version fondly. I couldn't finish the game when I was a kid since I didn't know we had to throw food at the end. Also, I wasn't even aware that there were potions.
I miss the era when the PC versions of games where totally different then the console versions. The vibe of those old PC games is so cozy to me.

This game was my childhood on PS2. I had no idea it had so many different ports, fascinating. Thanks for doing more of these comparisons outside of the Harry Potter games.

Me and my cousin lived on this game on the PS2
*WOW!!* Shrek 2: Activity Center for PC... I had _completely_ forgotten about its existence until seeing this video. What a crazy hit of nostalgia - I said 'oh my goodness' at my screen in disbelief! I used to play that game *SO* much! 2004 truly was wild. Thank you so much Flandrew for bringing those memories back! 🥰
Im that one lost vikings fan Back when international flights had real snes games in the seat screens it was my go to game on long flights to visit family as a kid

I love your comparison of every version of video games videos! Please keep them coming 🙂
Yes. More. Please. What makes these good are not the franchises. Apparently you just do good videos. Keep it up mate 😊
You should compare Bionicle games from 2003 next. I know they were released on multiple different platforms so they might have some differences between them.
Man, your game content is really nice, I'm following since the first of the Harry Potter series you made! Nice edit!
Love the video as always but I must say I prefer you doing these videos alone as I really enjoy you talking about those games. Still great though :)
yo I've gotten addicted to these comparison videos, please keep em coming!
I love to see you mention those old Java mobile games. Many of them were quite good, though usually short. They are talked about so rarely. I remember having a good time with the likes of God of War and a Prince of Persia mobile, and also a fun version of Worms that I played with friends at school, passing the good old Nokia around.

I love how you do these comparison videos. Please don't stop. I love your content
You should do one on the Spongebob Movie tie-in games. The PC game is a point-and-click adventure that has only 50% to do with the movie.
Excellent collab, guys! You two work well together.
Keep it coming! I can watch any game as long as it's in this format. :)
Love your videos man! So happy I discovered your channel! 💙
I’m new to the channel. These comparison videos are awesome! Hope you give it a try with more franchises.
thank you, this video is absolutely Shrektastic
I love this series, because of it i heard about games i never heard of before
I really enjoy these type of video. Thanks buddy
Oh hey, it's Shrek 2 (PC). Glad to see another review of some sort on the game! It's quite interesting seeing new perspectives on this game (especially when you play the game A LOT). Nice video!
Fantastic. You just cover all my childhood games. See you in the next video, when you review Goin' Quackers/Quack Attack
Youre such a great creator man , such high quality, don't give up you will have a million subs soon
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one! Hadn't thought about the differences all these versions might have.
Oh yeah baby. Man I love this video series you make. Thanks for making this seriously
I liveeeee for this series! Always looking forward to them
Older Spider-Man games also have ALOT of different versions. Maybe look at those too sometime 😊
Shrek: bodyslams Donkey: kicks Fiona: ZA WARUDO!
When I was a kid, I had Shrek 2 for ps2, never passed through the dragon stage, and I won't finish this video 'till I do. Anyways, you have my like sir. Thanks for reminding me this glorious torture
“We’ve never had a game with seven different versions before!” Wait til you get to the different game versions of Ratatouille…
So weird combo. You speak and annunciated pretty clear while Gumba is basically hard to understand and speaks so silent
I don't know what it is, but the walk cycle in the mobile game just cracks me up.
I have nothing against TheLonelyGoomba but as a non-native speaker I do have somewhat of a hard time understanding him

Funny enough I’ve only ever seen or played Shrek 2 (Activity Center) which was marketed as a whole game in the Eastern European region. Was decently fun and I do remember having a good time with it.
I have never commented on youtube videos in all my years of being a youtube viewer and I would like to say that you deserve way more subscribers than you currently have. Keep It up

Thank you
I absolutely loved playing this game growing up. I had enough siblings (and a multitap w cheap bootleg controllers) where we could control all 4 players during the missions. All the far far away missions were by far my favorite. Also enjoyed the forest and fairy godmother levels.
I never intend to play this game. I don't even expect to watch shrek 2 again. But I find this detailed breakdown staggeringly compelling.
Bruh that Goomba's voice annoyed me to no end, I could barely finish the video.
Nice video, I really enjoy this series. However I did give up trying to listen to the talking Goomba
Your sub count just flew up recently good job homie keep um coming. I love you and don’t forget who got you where you are
My sister used to play the PC version all the time. I never played it but I remember the castle dungeon level where you play as stallion Donkey having a banger of a music track.
Playing couch co-op on the PS2 version was fun. Good times 😭
Loving these series !!
The gba version was like my favorite game ever when I was a kid. Awesome game
Love your video man good job
This is a surprising collaboration.

Great video as always
I like how he refered to Fat Bastard from Austin powers, Which is the same character Voice Actor. lol.
I'm not very knowledgeable about Goombas who can be described as lonely, but I sure as Hell trust them more than Goombas of the gaijin variety.
Another great video. Would love to work on your channel one day. Great video and good job putting this together.
Fiona's ability to slow down time comes from the first movie when she did the Matrix slow motion during her fight against Robin Hood and crew
Wow, I got so much nostalgia seeing footage from the Shrek 2 PC game… maybe I should boot it up again for old time’s sake :)
Fuck yeah dude, your content keeps getting better n better. How you doin this bruv, genius
I loved the GameCube version growing up! So much fun
This channel need millions of subscribers. This is premium content👌🏾 I want this to be part of the big gaming review channels on YT.

@@Flandrew Did you know that Tara Strong (who voices Red Riding Hood in the Shrek games) was originally going to be Red Riding Hood in Hoodwinked? If you do an RVC dub of Hoodwinked, Replacing Anne Hathaway with Tara Strong’s Twilight Sparkle voice (which is similar to her Shrek Red Riding Hood voice), you’d get the result of what Hoodwinked should’ve been like.
I remember somehow managing to complete a full playthrough of Shrek 2 on the Gamecube as a kid
I love this channel. Nostalgia is my favourite feelong
Please make more vids like this! But leave the talking mushroom at home
Not massively surprising the voice actor for video game Shrek sounds like Fat Bastard from Austin Powers. Both characters are played by Mike Myers so they will inevitably sound similar.
2:00 If your over 25 and have a PC this game is a must have
Oh yeah, HERE WE GO
Man your channel is great !!!!!
I'm not sure but there could be a lot of different Lord of the Rings games right? Maybe that would be worth exploring, I'm sure a hell of a lot came out of that franchise, a few I've played myself. This Shrek video was great as always, though I prefer your narration style over your friends, it's still very good though! :)
My sister and I used to leave the GBA on and dance to the stage 1 music on Shrek 2. That song is a heater if there ever was one.
I appreciate the Lost Viking comparison, one of my favourite games from that period.
Very interesting first half, I had no idea that there PC games of shiek around that time and so many different versions of it. The second with goomba where he went over games that was not in his video, especially that Java title. Interesting video nonetheless.
4:00 Yeah, as a kid it was tough but there’s a trick to it. In the final stage there’s a refill for Fiona’s time ability that respawns infinitely. Its cheap but that’s the best way to beat the Fairy Godmother boss.
The slow down time mechanic is an example of good movie integrated game design
Always the best videos buddy, always great formatting and narration. Love what you do. Keep it up. Hell even do a walkthrough of Hogwarts legacy when it comes out! Seeing ya did compare all harry potter games; I'd love to see you play it!
These videos are amazing
Hey now! I like the Lost Vikings even if I have yet to beat it. Nice videos you two.
Recently picked up Shrek 2 for the GameCube from a charity shop for 99p. Looking forward to cracking it open.
Playing the dragon riding level on the GameCube version was the most stressed I’ve ever been in my life
That phone game has the best climbing animation I have ever seen in a game.
2:27 My friend, Donkey *rides* the dragon. They knew what they were doing.
Great job as always, but at the goomba's part he sounded a little bit off, his sharp R intonation wasn't strong enough i had to actually turn on the caption this time, but he really has an amazing style of narration (a professional storyteller?) and didn't even make the annoying hissing sound at the end of sentences, unlike some other certain youtubers with sensitive mic who refused to improve. No offense intended to both of you great peopleby the way, I'm just pointing out some small inconveniences and hoping for a good improvement, not demanding obviously. Cheers

I couldn't understand a lot of what he was saying and the cadence of his voice got old really fast. Kind of unfortunate.

I really had a hard time understanding what he was saying, unfortunately :/
I, who remembers The Lost Vikings, appreciates the comparison
Shrek 2 on the PS2 was my first ever video game
That character swapping puzzle format is what most of the LEGO games are
I grew up with _"Activity Center"._ Kinda miss playing it; I had a lot of fun.
I must play them all as part of my pilgrimage
Love these videos bro especially the Harry Potter ones
This video was _awesome!_ I absolutely *loved* playing Shrek 2 on Xbox when I was younger- of course I’m remembering it through nostalgia glasses but I remember it being a _lot_ of fun and that final boss was definitely a 🅱️
I had both the PS2 version and the Gameboy Advanced version. I loved both of them
good review as always. dont mind if I culture vulture some of you guys' slang tho lol
Between you two and Roland Speaks video from two weeks ago I've seen more Shrek 2 games than anyone should see in their lifetime. Seriously a very strange coincidence.
You were right, Goomba, I do appreciate the Lost Vikings comparison!
