Literally came here to say the exact same thing. I was so not ready to hear his voice, but as the tears well up, I am grateful to have ever heard such a special person to begin with. To this day, I still remember hearing his last pod on NBA University with J. Kyle Mann. Wow, thank you for that.

man I miss Tjarks. I listened to him on the pods just since lockdown started, and I hadn’t even been listening for that long when I heard the news. He had not only some of the best analysis but an amazing sense of humor and a really funny, distinct voice. RIP

as a french dude, i've watched a looot of US content around wemby and chet, and this one clearly stands out. Perfect nuancing of their statlines given their two teams, how they differently score and impact ball games, good takes on what they can evolve as players and a most importantly a deep appreciation of those two future/actual faces of league. great video thanks

I have a feeling seeing Chet Holmgren as a spurs fan is going to feel a lot like seeing dirk back in the 2000s. I’m gonna hate his guts… but respect his game… when he retires… lol

Chet is definitely amazing but he is almost 2 years older than Wemby. Also all Wemby's life changed during the draft , he has to adapt to a new team, new country, new culture, new basketball and he is doing more than all right. Wemby has a really good mental strength. We will have good years watching them playing against each other.

I love Wemby but I think the media coverage of him compared to Chet’s has been a bit biased due to Wemby’s game being more colorful lol. Fair enough, but what gets lost in all this is how GOOD Chet also is! I think this post does justice to both players without being too much bias 😂. Every fan needs to be treating the basketball gods right because if these two have long, healthy careers we could legitimately be looking at the next great individual rivalry in league history. They both have the potential to be that good, and they clearly don’t like each other all that much. There are so many ifs, but what started as tongue-in-cheek hyperbole now feels possible: they could be the next Magic v Bird, the next Wilt v Russel.

From what's been seen so far I would have to say that Chet is great but Victor, he's amazing.
