I compare it like this. The Adidas jersey is like experiencing fine dining. The fanatics jersey is having fast food at fine dining prices.

I don’t mind the feel of the fanatics jerseys, in fact I prefer them for everyday wear, however the price is outrageous. If these were $90 I would 100% support them.

They are very comfortable. My gripe is that for the kind of money they want, they should feel like a hockey jersey. But I agree with the price, the hoodie jerseys are about 90 bucks and you know they aren't jerseys, one would wear them for comfort and style. If the Fanatics were more in that price range, I would probably be slightly more forgiving on the lack of quality. But you are completely correct about the comfort of those jerseys.

I mean it's simple. If we mostly all stop buying Jerseys and complain about what we want for them, then fanatics will have to listen. Money talks. If you want a better product, don't buy the shitty ones. I know it's like a "well duh" moment, but some people forget that's what makes companies realize nowadays. Don't buy what you don't want.

They will absolutely not be upgrading the fake jerseys for public sale. All they will do is mark the price up.

I feel like the true insulting part about all this is the price of the fanatics jerseys. If these were under $100 then I’d be perfectly okay with it. The sweatshirts they make are better quality for the same price

They look ugly. And snag easily.

I’ve seen a lot in the hockey jersey community hate on this due to the Breakaway collection that is currently available, but these are replica jerseys as you’ve stated. They are not meant to be perfect. Fanatics is going to have authentics available once they make the on-ice jerseys. All leagues sell authentics. They don’t now because Adidas has the rights to make them. A lot are complaining without seeing one authentic Fanatics jersey made…I also notice a lot complaining about the breakaway line, yet they own them 😉 I’m not a hockey jersey collector alone…I collect baseball, football & basketball too and there is always trepidation with something new in the jersey world. But, I always wait to see the product in hand before passing judgement and feel judging now based on a replica line is unfair. Quality will be better I’m sure for the authentics. We just have to wait and see.

If the breakaway line was priced appropriately, then many wouldn't have such an issue with them. But they are a rip off where they are priced now. Especially with continously shoddy quality control that Fanatics refuses to address.

I am hopeful that the fanatics authentic jerseys will be alright, the breakaways are supposed to be cheaper but they are crap

I loved CCM when i was growing up. I quit buying during the reebok yrs as well, i hated them. The only Reeboks i bought & still do are the outdoor games & alternates, only because those are jerseys that didn’t stick around..i know Columbus’s Cannon jersey is still going..how can it not? Adidas are a very close 2nd to CCM for me. Prime Green logos are just unmatched!! I know Adidas jerseys have issues, but overall they’ve done an unbelievable job. I saw a fanatics jersey at a local Dick’s sporting goods store here in the Pittsburgh area a while back and holy crap i could NOT believe how shitty they are. The logos are an absolute abomination. How can anyone pay that much money for that crap? Fanatics really really need to step up their jersey game if they think i’m buying them. Something tells me no matter how good or bad they might be i have a feeling they’ll cost over $200..as of right now, my jersey collecting will be on hold again like it was during reebok. Again i may only get the specialty jerseys.

You showed a Climalite jersey. The prime green jerseys are even more detailed. Now, the fanatics jersey that you showed is a replica. They have never said it was authentic. So, until we see authentic jerseys made by fanatics, we should hold judgment.

I agree. Also a Fanatics jersery is not fake,doesn't even fell fake. For people who can afford a Adidas jersey they can get the Fanatics brand. I have few of them my self. I love it

@@GCBlues45 I agree. For a replica jersey I really like the Fanatics. Really comfortable to wear too because the logo patch is not that stiff. I got discounts when I purchased them and for the price I paid I really enjoy having and wearing them

When someone sent me a message on Instagram Tuesday morning I thought it was a joke but now I know it was real this is what we didn't what the NHL to choose and go with Fanatics to me the NHL should stick with Adidas

wow. guess i'm not buying a jersey for another decade. way to go nhl... they make the cheapest crap ever seen. can't wait to see players with their misspelled names flapping in the breeze behind them because the glue let go. or the first fight starts and someone's jersey just shreds off of them. 1:57 that's the best patch on the jersey. even the front crest is just rubberized ink on an iron on, instead of an actual embroidered patch. garbo. i would pay 25 dollars for the fanatics jersey, as it is just a glorified t-shirt.

ccm ALWAYS had beautiful embroidered patches that last 50 years. that fanatics jersey won't make 50 washes.

A jersey from China is not better than a Fanatics jerseys. I have few Fanatics jerseys. I don't wash them in regular wash,I wash it in the gentle/delicate cycle.

Fanatics doesn't use twill. They just slap on some low quality synthetic or vinyl material. Mark it up a lot more than it should be. And laugh all the way to the bank when someone buys them.

Definitely wrong. Adidas is way better, especially the Prime Green. Stitching all over the place, beautiful crest detail. Adidas is objectively a good “authentic”
