Why does my Italian Campaign Start look so much different then this? I started it this morning, and it has me already on the beach and taking over a Hospital point. I started the Campaign where you are at the 43 min mark.

I played this campaign on the release version of the game. Since then they've made some changes. From the 4th December 2023 Patch notes (Steel Shepherd): "Our team has made exciting updates to the Italian Dynamic Campaign! We've revamped the first mission, Gela, and the Campaign Map tutorial, Calabria, to give new players a better head start. Texture Detail on high, Physics Quality on high, Image Quality on high, Geometry Detail on High, Shadow Quality on Medium, Anti-Aliasing turned of, Vsync turned on, Borderless Fullscreen. I'll add this information in the description for future vids. The optimisation for this game is amazing.

@@striderfootyy5046 why do you turn off anti aliasing if I may ask? Doesn't that make the graphics worse? The game looks amazing in your video.

@@eviola11 It would make the graphics better if I had it on, but arguably hardly noticeable. I only turned it off to boost performance a little bit. If I had it on I think it would have had an impact on my framerate stability. I didn't really test any settings, I just felt these would be the best for my machine. My CPU and GPU is in the description.

@@striderfootyy5046 I see. Have you tried running it on ultra in texture settings? There's a way to bypass the lockout.

@@eviola11 I haven't tried and I don't think I will. With my gaming hardware I wouldn't acheive decent frames with any setting on Ultra. I have found in the past that if I continue to change/test particular settings I just start to stress too much about frames. So I just stuck with High settings, the difference would be hardly noticeable. The real difference is through the jump in resolution up to 4k, the difference is huge.

Horrible AI. One of the worst ever played against. Silly moves really. Awful single player game.

They recently made improvements to AI behaviour and will continue to do so through further patches. No excuse for the gameplay to be in this state this early in the games lifecycle, but at least we know it will be improved.
