📌 EN - The workers of Hutní montages laid the connecting segment of the steel structure of the new highway bridge over the river Rhine on the A40 Duisburg-Venlo highway. This main artery provides almost all road traffic from the industrial Ruhr westwards to the Netherlands.
🔸 The entire bridge for the 8-lane highway will be made up of two separate deck structures (separately for each direction), each of which is supported by 80 cable bundles, which are suspended on four pylons. The total length of the bridge is 802 m with a span between pylons of 380 m at a height of about 42 m above the river level. The height of the pylons is more than 71 m above the bridge deck. This is a very interesting but demanding combination of assembly technology (extension of the coastal part, flying assembly over the river coordinated with the assembly and tensioning of rope bundles and, finally, work at height during the assembly of individual pylon segments.
🔸 Assembly began in January 2021, and the completion of the left bank half, which Hutní montáže is assembling, is expected on May 31 of this year.
📌 CZ - Pracovníci Hutních montáží položili propojovací segment ocelové konstrukce nového dálničního mostu přes řeku Rýn na dálnici A40 Duisburg - Venlo. Tato hlavní tepna zajišťuje téměř veškerou silniční dopravu z průmyslového Porúří směrem na západ do Nizozemí.
🔸 Celý most pro 8-mi proudovou dálnici bude tvořen dvěma samostatnými konstrukcemi mostovky (pro každý směr zvlášť) kde každá je nesena 80 lanovými svazky, které jsou zavěšeny na čtyřech pylonech. Celková délka mostu je 802 m s rozpětím mezi pylony 380 m ve výšce asi 42 m nad hladinou řeky. Výška pylonů je více než 71 m nad mostovkou. Jedná se o velmi zajímavou, ale náročnou kombinaci technologie montáže (výsuny pobřežní části, letmá montáž nad řekou koordinována s montáži a napínáním lanových svazků a konečně také výškové práce při montáži jednotlivých segmentů pylonů.
🔸 Montáž začala v lednu 2021 a dokončení levobřežní poloviny, kterou montují Hutní montáže, se předpokládá 31. května tohoto roku.
