I've got a 2018 M-F 1526; It's been a really great tractor so far, But I can tell you that I missed those 3 zerk fitting as well; Thanks for the tip, & video, & I'm going to make sure that I hit those ASP. Oh & I haven't had these issues with mine yet.

Thanks for the video. I had same problem with my 1526. Made your adjustment this am and hoping for better results

Mine still does it if I load the hydrostat. But that plus really greasing the pivot on the pedals, made quite a bit of difference.

Any luck?

Any follow up on how this went. I have the same issue and am trying to decide an action plan.

I don't understand why I don't get notifications on some comments??? Very strange, sorry I didn't see this until a year later!!!! This helped the issue, but it's still there a little bit. It seems like it does it worse if the hydrostatic drive is loaded?

No worries. Thanks man. I found that cleaning up the pedal linkages and using a high quality grease seems to help.

So does the pedal forward ever get any easier to push down over time
@skipjagger

It does not, unless it's a bit siezed up from lack of lube or something. I suppose if the return spring gets weaker over time it would get a little bit easier, put probably not noticable

It’s a brand new tractor. Wouldn’t think it need greased the first day

#1 problem....it’s a Massey Furguson.

@@skipjagger nah, not really. We had some old MFs on the farm and they were fine. My cousin recently had a small one like the one in this video and it was a complete pile of shit. AND getting parts for it was terrible! That’s up in farm country in southwest Wisconsin too, so it’s not like there wasn’t a MF dealership nearby. Sometimes you get a lemon, but I was appalled by the repair situation and parts availability. Shame on MF.

@@ryanjones9305 good to know, luckily I haven't had to replace much of anything yet, I have only put about 500 hours on it in 4 years. Pretty much in my fee time I just play around with it in my yard, no real work!!! I have only had 3 "issues" so far, that "creep" issue, the front axle (left side) got a pretty bad leak (haven't addressed it for 2 years, just dump a quart in whenever it gets low) , and the loader valve relief was junk so I stuck a regeneration dump loader valve from Prince on it.

@@skipjagger good to hear. Hope you don’t have the trouble he had, because believe me, it will give you the screaming red ass.
