I might make a suggestion to you the idea of relay pumping is to get volume and pressure to the scene of the call whether it's a fire has been incident or another reason why you need to move both water you should get everything out of that you possibly can you put a cake on one of the two and a half inch discharges on a hundred two and a half on there and throw two and a half on the other side the reason you use the gates off if you shut down the hydrant and you just have to drain out the line for taking me two and a half off that I don't need me gate valve or whatever you have to put on there.. the key is volume.. yes it has a steamer connection on there but you want to get that little extra out of Ben hydrant you make greed you may disagree on it but we all have opinions and we shall consider everyone's opinion think about it and then respond..
