I'm working on finalizing my business loan, planning to setup a roastery with an SF25. You guys have been invaluable information in the anxious lead up to getting started!

That's great Ian, but our 10kg runs rings around the SF-25 in every way including capacity. Yes, you read that right. You should come to Minneapolis and give one a whirl. You'll borrow a lot less money and get a much more powerful and sophisticated roaster.

@@MillCityRoastersMN and you're proactive about sales? Hmm, I may have to take that into consideration.

Hola. Very helpful video. What is considered good gas pressure for seasoning roast? How many kPa should we look to have available. I use a MCR-1.

The smaller roasters run fine at 2 kpa. The larger machines do better to 3.5kpa.

@@MillCityRoastersMN excelente. Mine gets up to 2.5 kPa. Thanks for the reply. I hope to join one of the classes before year end. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy watching your videos and learning.
Man I want a 500 gram roaster for home. But it's a big investment and I'm afraid I won't use it

My 2kg roaster is being delivered tomorrow. I felt the same way and still do to an extent. I just went for it.

@@TimRogers81 why 2 kg? You must plan on selling some coffee. Starting a cafe or something.

@@toddpower4674 I have a few friends and family that really like coffee as well. Also I wanted the potential to be able to sell some here and there if I wanted to. The difference in price from the 1kg to 2kg wasent a lot to double my batch size. I can still roast 1kg in my roaster if I choose to but couldn’t roast more in a 1kg and would have to try to sell the small one to upgrade if the hoppy took off.
Getting ready to move the 30kg @housecupcoffee into place and look forward to seasoning with you Bryant!
