Hi Shilpa, very informative video. I can relate to this video for the Rose scam and the bracelet scam. Last year when visiting Venice, I had people come in and hand over Rose flowers forcibily and demand money. Despite my refusal they thrust the flower in my hand and we were forced to part with some money. In Venice and Rome these scammers were from our neighboring country in India. In France, my husband and I were accosted by a group of young men from Kenya who forcibly put the bracelets on our wrists and demanded money, again despite our refusal they put the bracelet on our wrists. The modus operandi is to target tourists when the place is slightly empty and there are no police nearby.

I experienced the same in Rome, but not Venice! They came to talk with their bracelets in Rome, I spoke to them in my Indian language and walked away. So was spared
