Het valt me nu pas op, maar je zegt een paar keer dat woorden nooit op 2 dezelfde letters eindigen in het Nederlands. Dat is alleen het geval met medeklinkers. Een woord kan heel goed eindigen op 2 dezelfde letters maar dan klinkers. Misschien is dit verwarrend voor studenten?

I am 68, I speak French, English, German and I have some basics in Dutch from my young age, as I was listening Radio Nordsee International every evening. They had very good music!
Forget about French, Dutch is the sexiest language.

Ik geniet echt van je video's/lessen! Hoewel ik erg nieuw ben in nederland, kan ik hier veel praten met mijn vrienden en nieuwe gesprekken beginnen met nieuwe mensen. Je grappige spreuk en leuke manier waarop je mensen lesgeeft, maakt iedereen enthousiast!
Weer een leuke en duidelijke video. Ik begin om 7.30 met werken en ik douche mij altijd na het avond eten dat is tegen 20.00 uur. Leuk om weer een leerzame video van jou te hebben gezien en ik wens jou een fijne relaxte avond.

Originally I am dutch, I moved to the US when I was 35, 20 some years ago... my biological sister (who is dutch) reminded me of the difference between 'inslapen' and 'uitslapen'.... I once told her I was planning on sleeping in for the next day.. haha

Heel coole juffrouw
I vind het altijg goed ook de makkelijke les te verhalen. Soms weet ik niet zo goed waar mijn niveau is. De soortgelijkheden met duits doen dat ik de taal heel snel leer maar ik heb altijd het gevoel dat ik nog de basisfout do.
Ik heb een vraag. Waarom is=- " ik begin met werken " en niet "Ik begin te werken"

Ik leer een dame uit ZuidAfrika Nederlands, maar ik moet haar uitleggen wat transitieve en intransitieve werkwoorden zijn, anders kan zij geen passieve constructies maken.....

I'm looking for a verb/expression to describe a situation where we can't say/do sth because e.g. it might not be polite. So it's different from "durven" but close to it. "Ik durf niet om te ..." doesn't convey the meaning I'm looking for. It's more close to being "shy".

Ik heb gehord de werkworden zonder de -en, de uitspraak, als ze worden gesproken door moderstaalsprekers...ik denk en we denken zijn niet verschilend...is het waar? (Perdón si no lo he escrito correctamente)

@@learndutchwithkim "Denke" is toch geen correct Nederlands. Dat gebruiken ze in het Duits; (Ich denke). In het Nederlands zeggen we "Ik denk" en "We/Wij denken". Of bedoel je te zeggen dat mensen die 'n' weglaten omdat ze niet juist articuleren?

@@learndutchwithkim Ja, okay. Het was in eerste instantie mij niet helemaal duidelijk dat je het over de manier waarop sommige mensen spreken had. Het klopt natuurlijk dat je bij veel dialecten hoort dat men letters niet uitspreekt of juist toevoegt. Maar voor studenten Nederlands is het wel belangrijk om te weten dat "We denke" in principe geen goed standaard Nederlands is.

Ik weet een uitzondering waar het werkwoord altijd een dubbel-medeklinker heeft. Het is "stressen". Ik stress Jij/je stresst Stress jij/je Hij/zij/ze/u/het stresst Wij/we stressen Jullie stressen Zij/ze stressen Waarom is het zo?
