Commodore 64 Version - Classic Nintendo Arcade Game Donkey Kong
The Commodore 64, also known as the C64, is an 8-bit home computer introduced in January 1982 by Commodore International (first shown at the Consumer Electronics Show, January 7-10, 1982, in Las Vegas).[4] It has been listed in the Guinness World Records as the highest-selling single computer model of all time,[5] with independent estimates placing the number sold between 12.5 and 17 million units.[2] Volume production started in early 1982, marketing in August for US$595 (equivalent to $1,800 in 2022).[6] Preceded by the VIC-20 and Commodore PET, the C64 took its name from its 64 kilobytes (65,536 bytes) of RAM. With support for multi colour sprites and a custom chip for waveform generation, the C64 could create superior visuals and audio compared to systems without such custom hardware.

The Amstrad version is probably the most underrated home port and sits behind only the NES release. In terms of the ones that came out at the time of the arcade game, Amstrad plays best IMO. Looks great and has all levels. Unusually its not just a colourised Spectrum port. Well worth checking out.
I wasn't expecting it to be so arcade accurate!
Surprising how the British version of LJN made a great port of the arcade Donkey Kong.
Since c64 isnt on Retroachievements, i didnt spend any time with the c64 version when collecting DK badges. This looks like a very interesting version of DK. I would like to spend some time with this, Amstrad, Coleco and 7800 versions to accurately place it among the quality home versions of the time. Thanks for the video ❤

Not too sure about Pie Factory here. There are some red flags that would probably see it behind Amstrad & 7800 but perhaps ahead of the overrated Coleco version.

Very nice ending sequence. The DK art in that bit was pretty good. Hopefully Retroachievements gets c64 eventually as I would love to spend some proper time completing this.
