    Hey there, Mark! I got with Scott and Bart about this. Bart educated me that when you send two coins in one envelope that they sometimes bump together and chip. That sucks about the reindeer. We haven't had really good snow (6+ inches) since I was a kid. My kids have only had a handful of chances to go sledding whereas I grew up having snow all the time.

    I got a set of these, but was a little let down by the start up delay of about 3 seconds, and that I can't choose which pattern I want. They are definitely more for people who want to just plug them in and let them run, and not for the folks who are running synchronized displays. I'm curious if you intend to control them at all and how you'd go about it. Thanks!

  • @ChristmasOnCrestline

    Hey there, DN! These are definitely for those that want to put them in the ground and walk away. They can't be programmed to go with the precise timing of my show but they could be set up in a manner to come on during the intermission portions of the show. I could set them up to have power in between songs to give the folks something to look at while we are giving instructions over the FM radio channel. I'm not certain I'll do that though. I imagine folks will wonder why they aren't on at any other time of the show.

  • @rybodelerium

    I just purchased the LOR 16 residential controller it's my first year for a show 2021 and I'm wondering how that would look on one channel and if every time they turn on and off if they would start the same exact pattern?

  • @ChristmasOnCrestline

    @ChristmasOnCrestline

    3 жыл бұрын

    That's a good question, Zeus. I'll unpack them from storage and see if that's the case. I'll let you know tomorrow. I would tell you that these do have a 1- 1 1/2 second lag from power up to start. Once they are plugged in they take a second to illuminate so that would need to be taken into consideration for programming if you need them to start at an exact moment.

    Okay, I've checked them 5 times and the pattern is consistent. Each time the arches recieve power they begin with a bit of a rainbow shimmering pattern then transition to pink leaping arches. So everytime the channel you have them on is powered the pattern would be consistent.

    @@aideobrien My only other thought would be to build your own. Especially if you've been looking for so long. If you've up for Commercial-Grade, you can order the 18 gauge wire, the vampire clips to attach the lights to the wire, and the single icicle bulbs to screw in. Another benefit would be you can custom make it for your precise needed length. creativedisplays.com will have a 40% off sale on all of those in late Jan-early Feb. I think you may be able to sneak in a 20% sale at one or two of the companies on that list I mentioned.
