This is promoting hands free mode which is a form of autonomous driving. The vehicle is driving itself so the mother doesn't have to focus on the road and can instead talk to her son using asl

@@NinjaSlayerOfShadows see how well that defense holds up in court when YOU, not your car, runs someone over while looking over at your passenger having a conversation completely negligent to the road ahead. Hands free mode does not remove your responsibility for every inch that vehicle moves. Between July-Oct 2022 11 people were killed by 'autonomous' driving vehicles. These tech advances only further remove people from the driving experience and enable distracted driving. How many Tesla owners you seen staring into their lap while their 'car drives for them.' Totally negligent. Vehicle sensors cant see and evaluate the road like humans can. Driving is a responsibility and everyone needs to pay attention.
