Did an inspection on an SBM in India, apparently the breakaway failed so the hawser got completely severed at some point. It’s India so I understood whoever broke it probably just didn’t report it, but could never figure out how nobody else noticed or said anything afterwards lol

When working suspended, e.g. not on the sea floor we have tools tied off to our belts to prevent that. It looks like he has his tied too in this video. But yeah if it’s not tied and you drop it you’re just buying a new one
