Commercial crabbing where I'm at (area 6 and 7) is decimating the harvest for people like me, (the ones that are more interested in a fresh crab dinner than the all mighty dollar) and the part that really pisses me off is that the biggest buyer is China. By the way, I'm not against commercial fishing as I have commercial fished in Alaska for 5 seasons, but seeing the area I've fished since i was old enough to talk completely blanketed with pots and catching nothing but small juveniles sucks.

U have to share with the average "joe" too man. it is the same here in Florida, The commercial guys get to go kill TONS of Snapper,Grouper,King Mackeral and the recreational guys get to keep 2 per license aboard the boat. Where's the "FAIR" in that?

Aerodicus: You don't know what the hell your talking about, China does not buy puget sound dungeness crab it buys puget sound Geoduck. You might want to learn how to crab-fish better too as i always get my limit in marine areas 9-12(Hood Canal).
