Your commentary is not only great for following along with the events on-screen and your voice very soothing (looking forward to falling asleep to this a million times!), the total dryness of your joke delivery is hysterical. I'm only up to the beeñata, which is what's making me pause to comment, but the legal disclaimer about staying away from bombs and your general dryness whenever a trick doesn't go according to plan are just delightful. Also, the puzzle jingle counter, speaking as someone who sat through that entire video. I have no further comments, just, the puzzle jingle counter.

I had not yet reached the beeñata joke, so I was really confused as to what that word was until I heard the joke said about 5 minites after I read this comment.

What I don't like about some of the popular "speedrun explained" channels such as tomatoanus is how they feel the need to talk rapidly over every single second of the footage they show. To be fair, they often explain much shorter runs, but there are plenty of ways to slow the pace down still. All in all, it's much too fast for my tastes. So I appreciate your style of commentary. Calm, informative and sprinkled with some good humor. Most importantly, giving yourself and us, the viewers some time to breathe in-between and absorb what we just saw and heard. Oh and congrats on the run!

Thanks! It's funny you should say that about this commentated run in particular because my commentary is far *more* dense in this one than in my other commentated runs. But I do try to only speak when something needs saying.

Yeah, I might have commented before watching this in its entirety. 😂 I still think you made it all quite digestible. Skipping some of the more technical explanations was a good decision with how much was already going on.

I love the jokes you crack during the speedrun explanations, for this video I especially enjoyed the beeniata and "ordering a new ocarina off amazon" ones, but all of them were great. It adds such a nice bit of levity to your clear and concise explanations. A++ commentary!

I really love this video. I already love commentated speedruns but the fact that this run isn't a "perfect" run makes it so that I can actually learn what it looks like when things go wrong and you have to compromise. Plus your commentary is hilarious at times and very soothing

I have commented on another video that your wit makes the video watching the whole way through, and that still stands. Your commentary is a very healthy balance between informative and cleverly used humor, and don't think I didn't notice that you used the gameplay events and information as a bridge into said humor. Very well done, I have to imagine that this must have taken quite some time to script properly.

this showed up on my front page via algorithm the same day that my brand-new keyboard got here. watched the whole thing cus i love your commentary, but it sort of put MM on the mind. so the first thing i made any of my new customizable macro keys do was open a rom of majora's mask with nerrel's HD texture pack and reshade settings. so thank you for the inspiration for the Instant Majora's Mask Button i guess lol

Man, no ISG strats have come a long way. The fortress sewer skip was particularly slick. Also, never thought I'd see the day where ISG is considered a "minor" glitch.

Yeah, it's hard for me to imagine anyone being interested in running no ISG before remote hookshot and this method of sewers skip were found. Did it have any really interesting strats back in the day?
