My history with ADHD medication is personal and can not be generalized (n=1). In this talk I wanted to highlight the importance of lifestyle, such as nutrition or sleep, on mental health and disorders such as ADHD. I hope it might inspire to take our lifestyles into account when we face mental health disorders. I wanted to share my personal history to give hope to any person in the same situation. I also wanted to share the dietary intuitions I had at this time and the potential scientific explanations that could explain such intuitions: Tyrosin being the precursor of Dopamine and Norepinephrine, protein-rich breakfast could help to regulate the activity of those neurotransmitters which are thought to play a role in ADHD. On the contrary "sweet" /simple-carbs-rich breakfast could worsen ADHD symptoms as stable glucose levels are important for cognition. Kindly, Emilie Steinbach

The talk mentions 2 studies. It'd be great to give the references so we can check them up.
