Commedia dell'Arte's characters: Capitano!
Ойын-сауық
And now that's Capitano's turn! A character deeply rooted in the army's world; its behavior takes inspiration both from human and animal dynamics.

In the next month we're going to talk about Commedia dell'Arte's key elements by analyzing its origin, its characters, myths and misconceptions (yeah, there are actually kind of a many!).
Hope you'll enjoy it! Welcome to SPOTS on Commedia dell'Arte!

Hello thanks 🎉🎉Greetings from England
This is wonderfu! Thank you and well wishes from California!
I always felt David Brent had a slight Il Capitano-vibe. Even though he's not focused on courage, he's obsessed with others perception of himself.
Captain Zapp Brannigan from Futurama is clearly based on this character and/or the miles gloriosus.
What was he dressed like? Thanks for your videos! Greetings from Germany
Capitan's archetype: Miles Gloriosus.
