I was heartbroken yesterday, today I feel proud of the Matildas. I took a lot of flack from English supporters for saying it, but I still think the Matildas could have won it all if Alana Kennedy was healthy and the defence held up. Good luck tomorrow girls, you really are a great team.

Meeting great expectations and raising massive interest in our sport and women's sports in general. Now pretty much everybody in Australia knows the whole Matildas squad. However, your next game is against the very organized Sweden Team with excellent discipline. They play a physical and aggressive style of soccer. We need to be extremely well-organized and play a fast-paced game (aiming to secure possession of the ball). It's crucial to dominate the center of the soccer field and control the ball in the middle of the park. In the last game against England, we played too softly and failed to generate enough shots on target. Seize control of the middle park, adopt a swift and aggressive style, and take as many shots at the target as possible. We have full faith in you. Best of luck, girls!
