Woww...The "josh" of the Indian Army is truly inspiring and very humbling. Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom , especially, against the perfidious PLA. We simply cannot drop our guard against the Chinese, on the high mountains or the high seas. Thanks Amitabh for stating that it's the India - Tibet border. I feel so sad for the Tibetans, who have been suffering under oppressive Chinese rule for so long. It's a shame that India didn't help Tibet to stay free, when the Chinese first invaded it. We are all paying the price for Nehru's mistake.

What an incredible video series! Loved watching it. I took my group of mothers and kids on an expedition along the same route last year for our travel initiative #backpackwithmom . It was so delightful to watch these places including Bum La, brought back so many memories of our adventures and the role played by the Indian Army all along this beautiful State! Kudos to you for capturing these moments which will stay with us.

When I was in DODA in J&K counter insurgency duties, after two and half years I was ordered to posting in TAWANG, I represent the case with Records office to change the place of posting, so I was missing the place, now I am realising that.

Chinese PLA Kids don’t have any chance to stand against highly motivated and fierce Indian Army 🇮🇳 Jai Hind

The Indian Army is our pride. It's very sad that the government is doing the least for our Jawans.

Hate to bring this out but everytime borders with china comes into discussion North East comes into the picture, while we forget the kinda treatment our brother's & sisters have to face everytime when they venture out either to study or to work....even while we sit and talk of and in arunachal, manipur few hundred km away is burning without any respite, why look externally while we burn within..

Indian citizens can buy land anywhere in india ( incd. Farm land ) without any restrictions , accept near borders some type restrictions apply.

I hope you would at least not let it be forgotten that it is the Tibetan front, albeit currently under Chinese control and not a Chinese front.

Both sides are fighting over a sht place. It is cold, unbreathable and barren !

Why can't we provide drones to the soldiers to do surveillance of areas where regular observation might not be possible. Since the distance is only 2-3 kms from LAC & over a width of around 10-15 kms, Quadcopters could be useful for surveillance during both Day & Night. Regular patroling might still be reqd. but Quadcopters could provide some ease to soldiers. Second thing i noticed that Assam Hills had Half bunkers with no cover on them for troops. Maybe something can be done about that as well. Pre-fabricated Bunkers might help. Credit to soliders for patrolling in such tough terrains & challenging conditions. Jai Hind 🇮🇳

India must focus on Tibet, Southern Mongolia and East Turkestan. Like how a buffer zone, Mongolia exist between Russia and China, India also have to reinstate Tibet, between China and India. If India wants prosperity, internal stability and peace in the region, then India have to push mainland Chinese influence from its borders first, If India lose this tug of war, then India may have to pay a big price by losing control over the whole Himalayan belt, the entire North-Eastern India, and the future wars over the Tibet-origin rivers.

why it named as Assam Hill, why not Arunachal Hill , we are nt assamese nor we were under Assam, we were NEFA earlier and we have quite differing culture, traditions...dnt name any place which gives reminiscent of Assam....its totally objectable...dnt mention Assam in any way....its sound much more pleasing to name it as Arunachal hill, or Buddist Hill or Tawang Hill or any warriors name ...dnt give Assam...disgusting

There is no India's role in 1914 but British colonizers. South Tibet is like Hong Kong once occupied by British Colonizer, and will have to be returned to China like Hong Kong.

Uniform..Uniform..Uniform...need some good good quality matching uniform for the guys out there.Abhijeet wore a different top and bottom and camouflage not suited for this enviromment.Come on Indian Army give these guys some decent warm clothes and a roof shelter on that assam hill observation post.Its the small issues that need to be taken care off to make life better for these jawans in those challenging environs.
