I feel as if people just pin the blame on Fox when in reality Fives would be killed in the end anyways. In that sense Fox decided he’d be the one to take one for the team, killing Fives so nobody else had to. Plus no clone in their right mind would disobey the Chancellors orders.

The entire prequal trilogy summed up into 3 words "Calm down Anakin"

William Pender How? If Fox didn’t kill him then another clone would. In a way he did it so no one else had to. Quite honorable if you’d ask me, especially considering the fact that there were direct orders from the bloody chancellor to kill Fives.

On one hand Fives is my third favourite clone trooper (after Cody and Rex) hence I am annoyed he was killed by Fox. On the other hand, Fox shouldn’t be to blame for Fives’ death as Fox warned fives to not go for the gun, which he did, and Fives aimed at Fox so Fox reacted accordingly, unfortunately killing him... at least Vader choked him later on

Nice Tiger10 Honestly he gets too much hate for that. Either way Fives was going to be killed, so Fox decided to bare the burden of doing it himself. It’s not like he enjoyed it, and he certainly wasn’t the only one who would’ve done it considering they were direct orders from Chancellor Palpatine. Fives screwed himself over.

This may be dead but think about what Chancellor Palpatine would have done to fives if he was stunned.

I dig Fox's armour and his name. The main reson I don't dislike him is because my own name Fuchs (German) means Fox. I think the Clones would go in with a big force and absolutly crush the Uprisors. I'd love it If you'd included the vehicles that are on the maps into the battles a little bit more cause it would just be more realistic. Love your work!

The coruscant guard isn't police, they are basically the star wars version of the national guard. The policing job is done by the Guardian Droids or the Underworld police as they do not hold military-grade weapons

I think Fox got a direct order by uncle Palps cuz Fives knew waaaay to much for the liking of the most powerful individual in the bloody galaxy... The 65th supreme commander didn’t have a choice. He was specifically handpicked by the Emperor, because of his loyalty :(

DC-17 pistol hasn't got stun, and Fives picked up a gun, in his mental state he was dangerous as well, and he asked him 2 or 3 times to not do that. It wasn't only his fault. Also he saw only that, he captured a jedi, a clone captain, and made a lot of truble before.

I was watching Star Wars rebels yesterday and one episode I watched got my attention because the rebels found captain Rex and he decided to help them and on there journey they got captured by droids and then they discovered that a small portion of the droid army survived the clone wars and were at war with the empire and then the rebels and captain Rex decided to team up with the droids because the empire was coming to attack them so they all fought there way out together it was strange to see droids and clone troopers working together

I like clone attacks quite a bit I recon you should do more

Well five raised his pistol on the 65th (probaly because he panicked) after multible warnings from Fox. Fox had to make the choice. Risk that Fives kills a 65th trooper or kill him.

Defend Fox As a clone loyal to the Republic he was doing his job. Also Fives was acting a little mental and he looked like he was struggling to accept what he learned. I believe he was putting Fives out of his misory.

The reason the troopers couldn't handle it, is probably they don't constantly train for riots, or experience much of them to where rioters are armed with pistols; 501st are frontline soldiers, so while I agree they probably could do somewhat better, Don't dismiss the CGs for incompetent: They just don't get into much action.

@@PARAD0XPHANT0M No never said they were at all incompetent, just sometimes you need a force which has the necessary combat experience, as the troopers of the CG have it comparatively cushty guarding the capital and haven't seen much action

R08 McM3ch4n The Chancellor ordered Fives to be killed. If you’re going to hate on anyone for the death of Fives hate Palpatine. It could of been any clone, hell even Thorn would do it. As a clone trooper and a member of the Coruscant Guard you can’t simply ignore direct orders from the Chancellor. You could get court marshaled or executed. Plus he doesn’t simply sit in an office doing nothing. He’s managing the entire 65th and trying to keep an entire planet safe, and he’s been seen to go on patrol with his troopers. If anything he has a pretty tough job, it’s just different than the others. He has the responsibility of protecting the capital of the Republic and with escorting diplomatic missions, dealing with crime from time to time etc. Then unlike other clones he didn’t get as much of a chance to develop much individuality as he didn’t get the opportunity to work under a Jedi General. He truly is just blindly hated for simply doing his duty..

Well Fox is actually my fav clone, but not because I just feel special about that he's the most hated one. Actually I admire that he's very much a man of principle towards criminals and such and he's also very unlucky to be serving the Vader as they had kind of a fishy situation, if you know what I mean. 5:45 There's this theory going around that actually nobody can read because the 10,000+ galatic languages mix up after millenia and it's impossible to keep up with the changes or standarize them across the galaxy so the written language is actually very obvious, simple pictograms.

Inferno X300 At this rate due to the blind hatred I almost feel worse for Fox then Fives in that scene, and Fives bloody died. Just because he got orders from the Chancellor he’s all of a sudden the absolute worst clone to ever exist. How does that even make sense? Any clone would follow a direct order from the Chsncellor.

Fox led suicide droids to a main city reactor, hunted ahsoka, killed fives, and forgot to inform the other clones about lord Vader so the fired on him thinking he was a Jedi which got him killed by Vaderfor his incompetence.

First off, he had no reason to suspect the droids were suicide droids trying to blow the reactor. It's highly unlikely, and the identification was deemed legitimate. The hunt for ashoka was based on facts and evidence, not out of favors or emotions. Killing fives was orders, but I can agree Fox was at fault for being incompetent to inform his troops about Lord Vader. This is my opinion, though, and I can understand why you hat him. I just don't agree that Fox is a terrible person. I feel like people are quick to hate him, and would rather stay in their perspective, instead of considering Fox's point of view.

Fox saved Padme Amidala, saved the senate building, Saved Palpatine and the senate how many times? Had a strong loyalty to the republic, became the most decorated soldier in the republic, Lead the elite republic coruscant guard, upheld the law even if he had to kill his own brother. Also, he didn't have a choice to kill Fives OBVIOUSLY Your not gonna allow a clone trooper, holding a gun, keeping a clone captain and Jedi general hostage in a ray shield, and knowing information that will undermine to the chancellor to live? What idiot would allow that? Plus the Suicide droids were heavily modified and had the codes to the power grid, fox couldn't do anything about it and just suspected they were regular cleaning droids, not his fault. He didn't have a choice to not hunt Ahsoka as she was in the prison chamber where a prisoner died, she also had her hands up like she was using her force powers, wouldn't you suspect her as the killer? Also if you see a force wielding light saber carrying man rushing through the streets of coruscant causing damage would you not suspect that person of being a Jedi? A Jedi was a huge threat during the time so wouldn't you think he would shoot?

My opinion of Fox: Overall he's an ok commander. He gets a lot of flak for what he did to Fives and Padawan Tano, and he is semi-incompetent in both the show and comics. 5/10 commander
