1 really cool card you can add is veridian longbow, since your commander is only 2 cmc with deathtouch its easy to attatch it and then it gets the ability to be tapped and deal 1 damage to any target, since it has deathtouch it will destroy any creature without indestructable at instant speed
Running a black version of this deck with Yahenni as commander that can always sacrifice. I can recommend bitterblossom, dreadhorde legion, unmarked grave, dauthi voidwalker, nether traitor, Jadar Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, blasting station, dread return, grave pact and doctate of erebos instead of some of the more expensive cards that will just get stuck in your hand without phyrexian altar or pitiless plunderer. Thanks for the deck tech, it's always interesting to see what other iterations are running. My latest cut has been nightmare shepherd btw, I just ran into too many times where exiling my creature really wasn't what I was going for unless I was finishing my opponents off for good. So it felt kinda win-more. It's a serious liability shutting off all your graveyard recursion yourself.
Their flavour text might refer to Sheoldred but WE all know they're a devotee of the ever-growing Church of Athreos ^^. They gonna have a comfy home in my Teysa Karlov deck!

Great tech! Elas was one of the cards I was most excited about with this set, I've recently retired an Orah clerics deck so I know what all those parts are going into
Thanks! I was looking for an Elas deck thats not Lurrus. You gained a subscriber😁
First video I've watched of yours and very well done. Keep up the good work!!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Last commander deck im making I swear!!!
I built him as a +1 deck. Popping in with +1 life very easily translates to +1 counters.
Now that we have the ONE set, let's just add new Elesh Norn in there. Good luck.
Amazing video mate, thnaks for helping me witg my first orzhov aristocrate deck😁

@@joltMTG niice, im looking for a elas il-kor gameplay since she was released
I think Tombstone stairwell could be a bomb in a deck led by this commander
Jolt! I'm excited about this card as well. Felt so needed.
Man you are on fire with these decks, that's why your my favourite edh. Channel Church of athreos was my first edh decks that I drop a bit of money into. Was thinking this guy with lurrus
Orzhov aristocrats is one of my favorite archetypes, but I can never make it work in commander. I always have card draw issues and run out of gas too early.

The Elas list posted is the BW aristocrats list I’ve been crafting/updating for the last 10 years. Maybe start with that list and goldfish it? See how my build works for you.
This is the one commander that I’m most excited for out this set
I had queen marchesa as my commander now definitely replacing her with this commander
Hi Jolt! As much as I love your content, the commanders you play and build are often, unfortunately, not my cup of tea :(. However I just can't hide my excitement with your last 3 deck techs, they are so cool!
noob question, but how does living death trigger Elas? Everything dies at the same time. And do you put everything in the graveyard, then exile and put everything back on the battlefield?

No noob at all! Hopefully I can give you a better understanding. So Living Death doesn't trigger Elas. What Living Death does is it gives you a way to close the game out as you sacrifice creatures over the course of a game. Or it allows you to bring back all the creatures you've somehow dumped into the graveyard over the course of a game, for example, multiple Doom Whisperer activations. Basically Living Death is just the medium in which you can dump a massive amount of creatures on the battlefield all at the same time. Which you can then use sac outlets to sacrifice those creatures to trigger Elas or other Blood Artist effects at the table. One thing to keep in mind is that Living Death is a swap. It grabs all the creatures on the battlefield, sets them off to the side. Returns all the creatures from the graveyard to the battlefield. Then puts all the creatures that were on the battlefield to begin with, into the graveyard. So you get no death triggers when you cast Living Death for creatures that are on the battlefield as it is being cast. You get all of the Enter the Battlefield triggers and they all happen at the same time. There's just no death triggers when you cast it.
Does sacrificing counts toward effects that say if a creature is destroyed and or dies?

No, sacrificing something won't trigger things like teysa.
