@@NitpickingNerds I have two different superfriends decks (I have over 30 decks) and Rings slots in nicely. I definitely don't run Rings for the express purpose of doubling my fetches, but I can attest to the fact that if you are the kind of person who runs every fetch that you can, it will happen. And it's awesome.

Hey Nerds! It was great to play with Joe Cherries at CommandFest on Saturday! He stole my Hullbreaker from my library and copied it, so he knows from experience that the horror is a menace. Sorry again that I had to leave that game early - it was still a blast to play you, and made my Fest an event I won’t forget

My 12 y/o nephew hit me for 35,000 damage with Avenger of Zendikar, Esix, doubling season, and harrow. I swear that kid is a spike in the making, he always beats me and my Timmy play style.

everytime i see Adeline get mentioned i get excited, when she got spoiled i immediately planned out a commander deck around her and its since become one of my fav decks she is such a beast

Trinket Mage gets Walking Ballista, too. Trinket Mage is amazing. I’ll run artifact lands to make it work. 😂

Adeline is bonkers in my Isshin deck. I'm happy to see it in my hand at pretty much any point in the game. Chord of Calling is a classic. I used to play Birthing Pod in Modern which made use of the card to surprise people which translates to EDH really well. It's so great being able to surprise people who think you are short on mana with convoke. My only issue with it is that it forces me to have to remember my whole decklist.

DAMN, I didn't realize Damn was so cheap! Gotta pick that up. This is probably one of my favorite series that you two do.

Another reason damn is great is if you're playing blue it's tutorable with spellseeker and its like the only hard board wipe option you can tutor with it. I know you can get cyclonic rift as well but that doesn't permanently deal with anything

I actually removed Scute Swarm from my Ashaya deck because the math became insane in just one turn from all the land fall triggers. Ashaya plus quiron ranger and Scute swarm anyone?

I believe for incarnation technique, the first thing to resolve is then opponents copy (if you chose to demonstrate). So that could relevant sometimes

Landfall is a triggered ability that uses the stack so it can be responded to. Tho that’s kinda just a technicality cause if you removed it in response the trigger would still resolve resulting in them having another scute swarm. A bit of a nitpick but considering that channel I thought I’d share lol

I feel like The Reality Chip is an under-rated card too.

I’ve only played a deck with scute swarm once and it was amazing seeing well over 100+ copies and then seeing an overrun happened lol…. Until I Rakdos charm’d in response and ruined his whole day lol (Thanks legend you’re a legond 🤘🏼)

Love Walking Ballista. Actually ignoble hierarch Exalted slightly relevant in my Korvold I feel xd I mean it doesn't hurt to have +1 on Korvold when he's attacking since often you're just kinda voltroning with Korvold at least when it comes to attacking.

Good picks, i think with the big reprint set hitting soon we'll see some opportunities to pick up some cards at a lower price than we'll see for a few years. I've been avoiding rings so far but it's very tempting to slip into my mono black deck with coffers and deserted temple at that price.

2x2 is gunna drop prices for some commander staples like smothering tithe. Down to like. 24 bucks.

Incarnation technique is so goddamn good. Cannot sing its praises enough.

Hullbreaker Horror is bonkers in my Animar deck, bouncing Eldrazi and nuking everyone else's board so you can one-bop one of your opponents with commander damage while the other two concede.

Adeline just won me a game today -- working with Kyler in the command zone, she does work!

the battle bond lands are so weird to me. a land that has as it's only line of text add x or y should be something i like as someone who would only put a taped land in his deck when it draws 5 as compensation but in 2/3 color it's not needed to fix mana that badly and in 4/5 there are enough land type lands. i never struggle with fixing while only playing lands with types, fetches and lands with strong abilities.

timeless witness is even cheaper than eternal witness, it does the same but costs 1 more mana and you can eternalize it for 7 mana if you want.

I think for Avenger of Zendikar the best way to play it is to sandbag it until someone wipes the board. I never play it on turn 7 and pass unless I can protect my board.

Skute Swarm is great until your opponent has Syr Konrad out and the board gets wrathed. I've win games by accident that way.

Hullbreaker Horror is so good and broken, this card is what the new jin-gitaxias should have been

"They never get priority and you get a second scute swarm." They don't get priority from playing a land, but landfall is a triggered ability and that absolutely does cause priority to pass.

Too bad these aren't Canadian prices. Even with the exchange rate, CAN prices are way too much and/or lag behind in price drops by weeks or months. Except you're not just buying a piece of cardboard you're buying a trading card, you aren't paying for the materials you're paying for its usefulness within the game/scarcity of the printing.
