Came to see what this game is about, stayed for the beautiful cinematics and music

Watched some of Malakith's videos on this and I'm honestly surprised how much MORE there is to this game versus what you'd think being a "spiritual successor" to a mount and blade warband mod It's great, I love it, can't wait

And most importantly, they have created all the tools event organisers and map makers need to make community run events interesting. Instead of just getting the same 8 maps on rotation until death with no control :)

Brings back the good old days of Mount and blade Napoleonic wars mod with the commander battles, its very nice to see a whole new stand alone game with that implemented. Will be a whole lot of fun!

Honestly already looking ten times better than WoR. Immersive commander battles can't be beaten, which means the game can never truly die too. This game is also able to be more sandboxy than WoR.

@@Wirelord I don't think there's anything about this that looks better... Definitely not the graphics or animations, I would also rather have 400 real players lined up in instead of AI War of rights is unique to me...because I think it's a very good civil war game. I haven't found a single musket era game that can objectively beat it...that being said I must have rose tinted glasses on because it's player base is low and for some reason there's people like yourself who think this free to play lookin game is "10x better" already..so whats the deal with war of rights?

@@batesBeckham Although I haven't played a large amount of War of Rights, I have enjoyed it very much every time I have played it. These are however two very different games in a way. The animations in Battle Cry are not the best but they'll get there. The reason why some people might look forward to this game and enjoy it more than WoR is that as I said it's able to be far more sandboxy. A large sum of these players come from similar genres/games like m&b Napoleonic wars and so on, which already had commander battles. This, mixed with lots of servers using custom maps, game modes, as well as both player line battles AND commander battles with bots to have fun with your friends, are why people will prefer this one.

@@batesBeckham Bcof can handle 400 real players. It is believed 500 is doable. 1k bots is playable though not every client can handle that. Graphics and animations are subjective. I personally dont think WoR animations or graphics are as great as people like to claim them to be. To each their own. As others have said, BCoF is more of a sandbox. Between servers settings, game modes, custom maps, random maps, events and the servers themselves, you can get a wide variety of gameplay. From the casual just get on and kill stuff to the more roleplay servers. You aren't forced to only play one way, on a few maps, with only 1 or 2 game modes.
