@@samuelsamuel4709 Honestly, I liked how in RA3 we had an ally commander in every mission and the Co-Commander system in campaign and skirmish where we order out ally, see them and the enemy in cutscenes talking to us, and that give the match life. I wish to see this more in the future. Not to mention how every single unite had a special ability.

Joe Kucan (Kane) mentioned a bit about his dealings with Udo Kier in his ama (C&P) I remember wrapping up the final shots of Yuri's Revenge at 2am in the morning. And then Udo, the actor who portrayed Yuri, had another hour and a half in the makeup chair having his prosthetic pieces carefully removed. I sat with him the whole time, not wanting to bail on such a dedicated actor even though by then I had been on set for 26 hours. Udo pulled out a bottle of vodka that he had swiped from the hotel and we drank a series of toasts - to videogames, Andy Warhol (with whom he had worked back in the day), death rays and Roman Polanski (who had produced one of Udo's first movies.). He was a little put out when I refused to drink to Polanski. Udo had such a smooth, soft voice and he would always refer to me as "my director." My heart would glow a little every time he would say that - "my director." You can see Yuri any time you like: just Google "Udo Kier". He's been in every movie ever made.

He is also in My Own Private Idaho where he sings his own song in front of River Phoenix [RIP] and Keanu Reeves's characters (that song is called Der Adler).

fun fact: this is the same actor who also played one the vampire elders in "Blade" the one that gets burned by sunlight at dawn by the pancaked face main villian of the movie, but that role itself is actually a reference to one his earlier roles when he played the titular character in the 1974 Andy Warhol "Dracula" movie

Is there agenda, continuing until now. BLIZZARD came after Westwood's new game : C&C 2, which was a controversial competition, well, tbh, Westwood won... Cause of RA 1-2, and Tiberian Sun additions...

My father, before he took farming as a hobby, hyperbolically played this game 24 hours a day. He used to have his own jargon. He says ‘convince the enemy’ instead of ‘mind-control’, etc. He eventually got fed up with it and now has turned to Facebook and farming for diversion.

All of this amazing effort they went through for a game that is still played to this day, still modded to this day & most importantly still loved to this day.

Seeing Yuri sits down to an interview is sooo weird lmao

I didn't even know there was so much makeup behind it, i really want to thank him for going through with this back then, it brought joy to so many people.

Thanks I was always wishing for more of the command and conquer actors to have done a live action movie. The quality of their presentation was so good. I remember going through the games trying to see all the actors.

udo kier must play some role on Game of thrones, as an antagonist for sure! hahaha

I don't think so. It was pretty bad at times. The scene where he 'strangled' another officer was laughable. Fake anger, a grip that can't possibly strangle someone.... You could argue it was pretty much the pre-search engine era so research was more difficult, but it wouldn't have taken an hour to run down to whatever fighting sports centres were nearby and ask them to show how the actor to mimic an actual stranglehold.

Blah b Stalin was great becouse of the cheesyness and bad acting not despite it. Its one of those so bad its good things.

Both characters are extremely great and their actors are just amazing. Its a shame only Kane gets so much support while Yuri only has one game (two if you count the expansion I guess)

The dedication in making games was on a different level back then. The golden age of PC gaming for sure.

Im here bcoz i just finished the Soviet's campaign in Yuri' Revenge. 😂 freakin' yuri used 3 super weapons against my base. Hahaha! Red Alert is such a legendary, underrated and a succesful game. Udo looks like a really likeable person

What I enjoy doing Yuri against Russians and Allied teamed against me. Make sure I have 10 Dominators and get all their Battle Fortresses and Apoc Tanks. (*And Yuri Prime their Construction Yard for Kirovs :3*)

+Daniel Ryan It is possible to build more superweapons by editing a game file. However, it won't actually do anything (aside from guzzling base power); the reason for this is because the structure isn't technically a superweapon, it only unlocks the superweapon.
