+Levi Brown I remember when C&C came out... oh wait now they call it this weird name C&C: Tiberian Dawn. I also loved C&C: Red Alert.. and then i watched Westwood being shred to pieces by EA that then proceeded to ruin the series. From EA i only liked C&C Renegade, but just because it was a chance to be in the C&C world more personally and had an awesome multiplayer community. The game itself was mediocre and the single player was nothing much. The atrocious Command and Conquer 4 was the last(?) nail on the C&C coffin. Damn im starting to feel old.. yikes

One idea for a Starcraft II campaign set of bonus missions would involve Terran mercenaries stumbling on a planet with green minerals, lethal to infantry. The enemies start attacking, shouting “One vision, one purpose! Peace through power!” The Nod logo is on their structures, their armor is red, and instead of firebats, they have chem troopers that turn enemies into visceroids. Instead of defensive siege tanks, they have obelisks. This music playing during the mission.

This song made me so into metal music. Hearing this in the Rio Insurrection mission gave me fucking goosebumps.

i like how nod was portraid in tiberium wars, it wasint a small faction of secretive insurgent turrists, they were screaming mobs of lunatics and zealots with nothing to lose, they were columns of tanks and heavy walkers with aircraft and artillery support, you could really tell that they had the chops to militarily hold there own against gdi, because of there shear ferocity and number, coupled with high tech elites and religious zealotry, in-game, nod controlled most of the yellow zones at that point, and you could really tell. in twilight, they shat on that, made nod a pale shadow of itself.

What rifleman said. In C&C Renegade in the last mission inside the original Temple of Nod you find that the temple is built on top of some ancient catacombs. In the Bible, Cain flees to the city of Nod after slaying his brother Abel. God cursed him with immortality, walking the earth forever, never to taste paradise. It's not hard to connect the dots. He simply changed the spelling of his name.

Probably the best remake of Act On Instinct imo. Modernized, but also has hints of the original song in various parts.

I dont very much like EA, BUT I simply must say that all this EA hate is misplaced. It belongs to games they actually ruined. CC3 and Kane´s Wrath were EXCELLENT games that did some things better, others worse than Westwood. Say what you will on RA 3 etc, but these games and GENERALS were awesome!

I remember seeing that a lot of CnC 3 was made by Westwood studios before EA bought the rights or whatever. I'm sure that a lot of ex-Westwood employees were working on CnC 3 and Kane's Wrath under EA.

The Tiberium saga is the best Idea in the early 90th century and it still is rocks. I still played each of the games from tiberium conflict to the new one :)

General Bubbles Oh. I see. I guess it's been so long since I played this, I don't even remember. Well, I did play Tiberium Wars, but Kane's Wrath I barely played at all. While I now have C&C Ultimate Collection, despite my graphics card being advanced enough to play Starcraft 2 quite well, C&C3 and RA3 react like as if my graphics card is too old when in fact, my graphics card is actually more up to date than the game itself since it can handle Starcraft 2. I probably should go to tech support on Origin and see what they have to say.
