if you offline the power to storm colums you can place things much closer its the ion cloud that prevents placement

This is "THE BEST" play for NOD Kane's Tower mission anywhere in KZread mate! Better than HDW and iCabal gameplay. I think it was intended to be played like this, "protecting the generators". Thank you !😎 ✅ 👍🏻

@@mathgodpiextras i've never played it like this, i always went with a commando to the juggernauts, put a base expander there, a vehicle factory, base defense and blocked the whole shit off so my juggernauts can destroy the lower base, but it was mostly hard especially because of the rng cause when i had bad luck they just rush the scrin base. And yes i don't play the game on english cuz i'm german so i play it on my own language, therefore idk if i said the car factory correctly XD

Holy cow that’s a strategy the whole time!? All these years of remembering rage quit, just for a simple solution. This was amazing, I wish my Xbox didn’t break, so I could try this tactic.

I did it on the newest patch of the game so it definitely works.

Pretty awsome play. I just kinda wish you'd spawn the mothership just for the sake of overkill.

Very important tip with the Storm Columns: If you want to build near them, just power them down and then place the building. The storm they generate is what makes the area around them unbuildable.

Impressive, this mission ever be hard for me, I will try your strat. Never understand that scrins doesn't attack us !

This video has inspired me to play a Skirmish as Nod versus the Scrin.

I did it another way by using Emissary on a nearby tib field... Build some Obelisks and a ref there and you can defeat GDI's initial assault(which is why this mission was hard)... Train 8 vertigos and destroy them little by little.

Why did the Juggernauts stop firing at the Phase Generators? Was it because they got bugged by using the Phase Shift power? This was the most difficult mission for me, and now you gave me a reason to go and replay the campaign

The juggernauts are bugged. If you use the phase shield on the generator they're firing on, they stop firing completely.

mmmhmm, if you capture them they arent normal juggernaughts they do bugger all damage

Sorry if I've missed something obvious but how did you get the juggernauts to stop attacking, all I can see is that they suddenly stop? Otherwise great video!

If you use the stasis shield on the inhibitor that the jugs are firing on, they stop firing permanently. Basically it's a flaw in the AI.

If the ion cannon fires on you use the wormhole to send engineers to capture it, but make sure to send something tanky through first to take the fire or use a lighting spike!

I kinda get the feeling this is the way the devs intended it to be played (capturing Scrin/setting up shop there). Considering this mission is absolutely insane trying to play it the traditional way, and considering that the Scrin will ignore you if you 1. don't attack them first and 2. don't build defenses that will target their buildings while they still have them (since that's considered attacking them), I feel it was designed to highly encourage the player to try this. Even the name of the mission implies it as sort of a double meaning.

When C&C4 came out I couldn't believe how bad they butchered what was supposed to be the greatest instalment of the series. What a brutal mistake by EA to give us that nonsense instead of what we wanted... a full scrin invasion!

How come Scrin isn't hostile towards you? I get shreded if I get anywhere near that base.

In the first few minutes, they don't attack you if you don't attack them.

@@mathgodpiextras they actually won't attack you at all, ever, as long as you never attack them (this includes if you build a defense structure too early and it autotargets a Scrin building, they will start attacking you). It's not timer based.

what a damn bullshit - GDI attack your base much earlier, all the time seeing hard difficulty and they start to attack after hal;f year, while in real they send huge army before you will get first obelisk.

the artillery stopped shooting? why?

I used the phase shield, which causes them to stop shooting it for some reason.

Yeah those storm columns make rockets fly off in random directions. It's pretty funny.

The defence works better I find, then attack after you take out the ion cannons with wormholes and build your own super weapons

Even this doesn’t work for me the scrim attack me and I get rushed by infinite mammoths and infantry

You have to be careful in how you complete the mission. You also can't go too slow or it won't work.

Hello again, brother. I was wondering when you played this mission the "lazy way", were you able to capture the southernmost alien Extractor? See pic for clarification: prikachi.net/images/Project2.jpg For some reason, I cannot capture this particular building with a saboteur. Wonder if it is just my game, or it is a common bug...
