Unfortunately, I'm not sure as I don't have gopro. USB-C recording isn't as universal.

RODE VideoMic Go II is amazing, but Comica is also pretty OK for a mic that only half the price of the Rode one. (at least in my country lol). I personally have the Comica mic and so far I'm content with it. Thank you sm for this review.

Greetings! I choose a microphone for my phone, for recording a musical instrument, I stopped at the rode videomic go ii and comica vm10 pro. The distance at which the recordings will be made will not always be close. What would you recommend? Is it worth overpaying for Rode?)

I think it depends on the size you want. I think VM10 pro sounds a bit better.

Will my laptop recognize this mic? My laptop has a usb type C port in the back and plan to hook it at the top of my laptop like a webcam.

I think both will work.

Not going to work for me since I record my brother from across the room, and a big part of our videos is him planning guitars that we review. Not certain what solutions are available to me. I use the phone for everything including recording, editing, uploading etc.

Music often requires more sophisticated recording. You can often connect the pickup directly to some of these microphone?

Does this work on Iphone 15 Pro?

Comica looks much much nicer, they both sound good just different...... ok Rode sounds much better but wouldn't use because its offensive looking

Haha, yep!

The main point of these microphones is for them to be off-screen, so testing them right in front of you is somewhat pointless.

@@JosephKimor you could just go in tighter with the shot and put the mics up a bit above your head. But we wanted to see the mics too for the video, so I say good job and don’t take shit from haters on here 😂
