So, the chick's "excuse" to start shooting this late is that "it's basically like making a giant movie"... ? As if it was the first TV show looking like a blockbuster ?
@MystikalScopeProductions
6 жыл бұрын
SCharlesDennicon well they filmed seasons 1 for many months after securing the right budget for salaries, visual effects, horse trainers and lots to shoot on. They were only able to do 10 eps which is small for a serialized network television show but they were able to put more work on the finished product. If the budget gets bigger they can do more eps but the same quality I hope

"Strong women"... why is that even necessary to say. Gah Men and women play many roles in cinema so why do we always need to single out women calling them strong like some beyonce song or some feminist slogan. Do we call the kids in stranger things "Strong kids?" Do we call men in action movies "Strong men characters that don't need a man"... it's stupid this need to politicize everything. Get out of your loop.
@katherinejklo7 жыл бұрын
"You also have strong women in this..." is it from you cause you're a woman too? was basically what was said by the interviewer... Are you kidding me????? the amount of strong male characters there are in every story ever, was it ever questioned why they were there? Why is it a questionable subject when there are strong female characters? And why is it a question when especially there is a female writer??? Oh did you write the women character strong because you're a woman? Are you actually serious??? I'm sorry but this is infuriating and more so disappointing from a new age series!

Katherine- You're really pushing it here. Actually you are making it harder for woman...just let the identity go already.
@maijafilipovica2835
6 жыл бұрын
rick grimes she's not holding on to the identity, quite the opposite. It would help women if it wouldn't be surprising or even worth mentioning that there are strong female characters somewhere. I want to be seen as a person and not be reminded constantly that being smart or strong is remarkable or surprising, since I'm a woman (implying that normally you'd expect me to be weak or stupid). It shouldn't be. Just as it shouldn't be surprising if a man cries. I wouldn't come up to him and say 'wow what's really awesome that you're displaying such an emotion, being a guy.'. Why? Because I'm not an asshat. He's crying because he's human, and humans cry. As for why she's so passionate about it - women often are affected by this kind of stuff on a daily basis. It's like water torture. If you get 3 strangers telling you to smile, 2 co-workers making a you're-a-woman joke and some guy calling you a bitch because you don't want to be hit on, you don't really want to hear any more bs related to your gender from a KZread video about your fave show. You just want people to perceive you as a normal person. Sorry for the long post. Hope this gives some perspective. Peace.
