Live from Comic-Con International 2017 in San Diego, California, Cas Anvar (SyFy Star from “The Expanse”) answers the question When Will We Get to Mars in this behind-the-scenes interview. Cas plays a Mars-born Fighter Pilot on “The Expanse”, and predicts when Elon Musk may get people to Mars. Cas also discusses if there is water on this planet. At least Cas had the Mariner Valley drawl, unlike Frankie Adams whose all "OY, I'M BOBBAY DRAPAH."
I like this character and like the Expanse. However, it is strange that we are asking an actor to tell us about science when we have thousands of scientists out there who could talk about this with more expertise and could use the publicity (sorry I just watched the Anthony Bourdain show where he went to Antartica and used his platform to highlight the work of those heroes)
