This video really opened my eyes. Ive had this headset for a while now and I really love it, but one of my friends started recording for youtube and I sounded like a frog in majority of his videos because my voice was so distorted.

I have been saving my money and i am going to buy these after lockdown! I dont stream or post anything and i would only use the mic for vc while playing with my friends, so the mic wont be a big problem for me. Thanks for the review!!

I reviewed these headphones 9 months ago. They have a stylish look, outstanding comfort, very good sound, and a disappointing mic performance. The mic was the reason I returned it. If Logitech ever improve the mic it will be a no contest; the G733 will rise to the #1 spot. For me, the Sennheiser's have always been the best. I use the following: Sennheiser Game One (open) Sennheiser Game Zero (closed) Sennheiser GSP 670 (closed) Sennheiser/Drop HD 58X (open) I will soon add the Sennheiser/Drop PC38X to my collection.

I've tried GSP 370, Corsair HS80 and Logitech G773 but none of them come close to my Game One open acoustics imo. Do you have any recommendations for other headphones?

tbh i dont really care about the mic considering i have a seperate condenser one, very durable comfy headphones and have lasted about 2.5 years, but the usb dongle is quite fragile so be careful with that

It seems like the mic issue is common with the logitech headphones. I was browsing their newest model, aurora, and read reviews that the mic was bad so I thought I'd look into this one, but guess it's the same issue. Sucks because I wanted to get a logitech headset

The broadcasting mode is the worst. You should have changed it to a different mode to showcase the microphone quality.

Omg this video helped me so much, I just bought these g377 and I loved them for the sound and comfort, but damn I got sad over the mic when I tested them, was wondering if my mic was just broken but no, thanks to your video I just realized that the mic is ju horrible 😔

you can enable the blue voice and mic will sound better :)

5:30 that mic would literally be automatically muted if someone heard that type of mic in game....

I wish the algorithm showed me this before I bought them, I needed a new wireless headset and sadly because of the microphone being terrible I have to return them. And because I know next to nothing about headphones, I dont know what to buy. Nothing has come close to my old but now broken Turtle Beach stealth 500p which I cant find a replacement for.

Damn I just came from your G935 to this...and that mic was a big let down...thank you for the review! I have G930s and ive dropped them a few times so now the mic doesn't sit in place...so looking in to upgrade and to go with the rest of my new PC haha. I went with them because I liked the wired version of them and owned for many many years till I broke em lol. Thinking I might go with the G935 due to the sound, and the mic is better than this...other stuff doesn't bother me too much myself.

Hey mate, thanks for sharing. It’s a shame Logitech doesn’t do a better job when it comes to their microphones. G935 for me were solid AF and still have them but just a bit too heavy for long sessions (for me anyway)

@@SocialHardware yeah I went with em they ain't the friendliest with glasses but expanding on the size fixed that issue. Felt snug, I've yet to fully test it yet but not too bad

headset is uncomfortable if you have a big head. I also feel insane because I can hear the RGB's working in there when I turn them on. Its hard to explain but I hear an electrical squeakuing sound that turns off when i turn off hte LED's Watched this video before purchasing so wanted to share my opinion. and also hear if anyone else can hear their RGBS in a logitech g733 or other LED headset

Disabling blue voice made it way better on some other guy's video. Just a headsup

I am having an issue with this headset in which I cannot configure the default format of the sample rate to 2 channels, it only accepts 1 channel. Any one can confirm if is experiencing the same thing?

If you like these try Corsair HS80. They are on spot with every single thing strap for cushioning, big enough for big ears, just about right amount of clamping force and microphone is just awesome.. (the only small grievance I have with turning them on/off you really need to hold the button for good 5sec.)

Can i Connect another mic like shure mvl to have a better mic quality?

Everybody is upset about the mic quality. I'm furious about the fact that some obscure softare issue (originating from the headset) just keeps randomly shutting off the microphone without any ability of turning it back on except for restarting the entire pc.

faulty mic mine sounds really good

The bass on these vibrates the speakers so that it adds an annoying sound. Also the left LED's cause a audio whine these 2 issues alone make this product not worth buying,.

I happen to like this microphone VERY much. The bluetooth probably screws up the sound quality. When plugged into an old g430 external soundcard, it sounds amazing. The speakers on this however, very quiet and low quality compared to a sony professional studio monitor. I can attest to the comfort though. If only it wasnt a pain to disassemble and wash.

I feel like the G733 is very unbalanced in terms of quality. The headphones' earphone quality is amazing in my opinion, however, the microphone is very disappointing compared to the rest of the package. I recommend pairing these headphones with an individual microphone.

No i would not recomend to buy if it is like mine after having it for more then a month every vd alwayas is a bit patchy

That's 300 AUD (Australian Dollars) - $300 AUD exchanges to $227 US dollars (what the exchange rate says right now) So yeah way more expensive. These headphones are currently £129.99 in the UK which is a pretty decent price.

I have bought headsets for like ten dollars with better mic than this, damn this is insane

It sounds so crap. I bought these today and am returning them pronto

You just need to create a new preset and use ur imagination to get a better sound thats it

Just bought this few days ago. Plug in and the mic not working. Watch tons of youtube video how to fix it but still doesn't work. Go try and search G733 mic not working on youtube, you will be surprised how many people has the same issues. Frustrating, don't buy this shit headset.

Great review but I disagree with the microphone being so terrible. Once you enable Blue Vo!ce they sound pretty good for most use cases. To your point though, you're right in that they aren't optimal for streaming or broadcasting. So, I guess I don't disagree but would emphasize that they're at least better than the Arctis 7 just by enabling Blue Vo!ce (in my opinion). Keep up the fantastic work.
