I just left a similar comment. I would much prefer to just see NAK in the mosque. Seeing him speak helps me appreciate the Khutbah more. I don’t want the visuals.

Same here. I feel like the islamic education in muslim countries is failing us. There's no deeper approach to anything and religion is something that gets passed down like an heirloom (nothing wrong with that) but there needs to be a much wiser way to teach Islam. At least in the west people are inquisitive, think and ask questions which leads to an exploration of the topic and rethinking about how we understand which I'm not scared to say since the word of Allah is perfect, precise and it complements the human intelligence. The Muslim world is too scared to do cz of the belief that asking questions or probing deeper would take one away from Islam when it's the opposite.

having empathy for the fellow humans suffering and self-reflecting and accepting one' own fault and not doing the blame game is the key and that also makes me think about the knowledge we get from the biased sources with no sound references in Quran and hadith (just the culture) and accept it instead of our own research as on judgement there would be no blame game just self-accountibility, May Allah make our hearts soft and open our hearts to His deen and give the ummah-e-Muhammad saw hidayah ameen

First off I love the editing here. Even though Ustadh paints the scene very well with his words as a visual learner I appreciate it. Secondly I feel so terrible and feel like its too late. Im deeply embarrassed that as someone who prays, reads the Quraan and listens to Ustadh (cz he helped me understand many core concepts) I've fallen short and it's multiple times. I hesitate asking istaghafar because I consider mine as "convenient istisghfaar" too. May Allah truly forgive me if I deserve it.

Now my question is what if we're also poor and the reason why we're not giving charity is because we'd deprive ourselves of the ONLY MEANS to survive? Am I greedy/selfish for taking care of myself? I've borrowed money to certain friends and they didn't pay me back and now I'm suffering because of it. And I'm resentful because of it. What's the point? Those who are rich are still not giving away their wealth ... it's always us with conscience but no money that have to take care of others. Tiring.

Wasn't their crime greed and selfishness? And not wanting goodness for other people? That happened before they went to sleep. And then Allah (SWT) destroyed the garden while they were asleep. Which means the crime they did happened before they fell asleep, because, from what I know, Allah only punishes AFTER a crime has been committed, not before.

Yeah they already planned all that in advance and would have said that line to each other before (about not giving the poor) but he means that so far when we read the verses we don’t know what their sin/crime is until we reach that verse.

What's with all of these sound effects in the clip? It's very irritating and keeps you from focusing on what's being told. Just put the khutbah online, that's enough.

Everything Allah teaches is something He doesn’t do Himself, He doesn’t know human weakness himself how can he have compassion? And how is he justice? Everything in Islam is a double standard, is a loneliness, is a disguise.

As salamo alaykum brother, your name is representing a cult "Nouman Ali Khan". You must not use "Khan" in your future generation name. As per Allah, name should be person name + father name. e.g. a person name is Ali & his father name is Subhan then person name should be Ali bin Subhan. Ali get a child & his name is Ibrahim then the child name should be Ibrahim bin Ali. So we may notice that we're avoiding a cult in our name as per example. Islam is free from all types of caste, color & cult etc. Cult made for disbeliever because this's the way Allah add struggle to these people life.
