I don’t usually miss celebrities after their death but I actually still really miss Sean Lock from my TV. I can’t watch the new series of Cats does Countdown because it would feel wrong to watch it without him on it, knowing any new episodes would’ve been made since or during his passing. I miss Sean he’s so unmatched
QI, another comedic quiz show in the UK, released their own best Sean Lock moments from their show and it's brilliant. You could easily make a 6 hour compilation of his greatest jokes and moments, he had so many moments of spur of the moment, absurd jokes. A real one of a kind comedian.

He was a good comedian but not the best in front of stupid me and the public. He was, however, the King comedian of comedians. He worked best when around other comedians, as he could think quicker than them, come up with really funny situations on the fly and his replies ruled the day. Really funny. I hope the richest amongst us are really getting onto a spaceship to the stars and have taken him to keep them entertained. Keep them entertained Sean, as I want to hope they die laughing and crash into a local comet or planet.

@@gaskellr44 Oh, definitely myself and you, so we could talk about the finer bullshit about his act. However, I think he worked better with other comedians around him as then his comedic mind worked on acid. The audience just seemed like an afterthought to him.
An Australian newspaper actually printed that exact obituary, including "You can't write tears, Jimmy," in their obituaries section.

I'm guessing the show made it to Australia then?
When there was a show where lee Mack,Bob Mortimer AND Sean lock, you just knew you’d have a sore throat from laughing too much. Fuck I’m thankful for being British.
Rachel Riley has said in numerous interviews and chat shows, before and after Sean's passing, that the 'Challenging Wank' joke was the funniest things she had ever heard... In one interview on radio 2. I think. She said that her wearing the costume was all set up, but non of the contestants knew. It was done to set up a joke for Jimmy. But Sean beat him with pure genius timing with a perfect one line comment. She said that they had to stop filming for 30 minutes to regain composure as the whole crowd was in fits of laughter. haha
He was a one off, had a Great comedy brain did Sean Lock so spontaneous 🤣. This show was never the same after he left us.
I was lucky enough to see Sean Lock live and then meet him after the show back stage. My missus was drunk and kept telling him how much she loved him. Brilliantly funny!
Sean and miles bromance is a thing of legend and they are so funny together
I had never seen that clip at the end! It was always unnerving seeing how sick he was on a few episodes. Hes an absolute treasure
Sean is so missed by everyone, he was soo good. 👍👍👌❤💔
"Jimmy Carr Remembers Sean Lock and carrot in a box".....a fantastic video. A little emotional, but very very funny!!! Worth checking out
You have to watch Sean Lock and Miles Jupp (guy in last part) best moments together
Sean lock the man so funny he made jimmy Carr laugh normally
Brilliant fellas, even though Sean has passed it's great to remember the fun times, also recapping your initial reaction to 'challenging w😲' was priceless-really thought you would explode in tears any second Spencer 😂😂 thanks for this guys, everyone could do with a laugh👍✌️🙏
I don't think we can ever get tired of watching Sean Lock replays.
The Tiger Who Came To Tea is a classic story from the 1960s and still popular today

Sean Lock and Miles Jupp Funniest Moments! The full BROMANCE
The "challenging wank" and "rectum of the year" are from the same show, can you imagine being in that audience?
RNLI is the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. A charity that has saved 140.000 lives in nearly 200 years. It has over 30.000 volunteers around the coast of the U.K.
Miss Sean…he was so quick with a comeback
Thank you. I’ve been needing some laughs. Ending it with, "You can’t write tears, Jimmy," was a bittersweet moment, but still a great show.
Sean will always be a legend. Yous should check out Sean's best bits on just 8 out of 10 cats
If you’ve not watched it already, the best of Sean Lock & Miles Jupp is bloody hilarious! And his appearances on QI are brilliant!
I teared up then when Jimmy started crying. No one made Jimmy laugh like Sean. Rip
Sean Lock on QI is a must watch 👍🏻👍🏻
The man' the myth' the legend that is Sean lock😅🤣😂😇👏🙌👍🎉
For me,it's Roisin trying to let him carry on while Jimmy's carrying on....👀😂😂😂💜
Sean Lock is one of those unique comics... You guys should check out his stand up.
There is so much Sean Lock to watch. He's been great on the ordinary 8 put of 10 cats and QI. There are a couple Sean QI compilations out there to watch. He appeared on 1 episode of Would I Lie to You. Had his own sitcom, 15 Storeys High, amazing stand up, he hosted 2 series of a show called TV Heaven and Telly Hell.
you know it's good when you already know what's coming but it still cracks you up
There's a really funny compilation of Sean's and Miles' "romance"... If you YT search that "sean and Miles romance on cats countdown" or something like that you will find a compilation of all the times they have ever interacted with each other, starting from that 'Spit' remark... It's a long video so you might get 3 or 4 reaction vids out of it...
loved your reacting to this ...... got this nailed
If you like Sean Lock and Bob Mortimer, I think you guys are ready for Brass Eye. It's a British 90s spoof documentary show which caused a lot of controversy, and it's brilliant. Very weird, but brilliant.
Im 34 and honestly never ever seen a meat raffle, obviously I'm not thick I know what it is, just not seen it ever. If you find a pub with a meat raffle you have hit jackpot a proper old school pub and such a place should be protected.
A common phrase for ordering Stella in some of my old local watering holes was "A pint of wife beater please?' 😂😂
Legend he was - great content lads!
Stella is often called a pint of 'wife beater' in the UK. Lol

I could watch you react to Sean all day :)
OK guys, more of Sean Lock. Look up his mascots on 8 out of 10 cats including; eating winkles, alphabet cocktail, Sean's love letters - hilarious!
Sean wasn't giving Jimmy it for dodging taxes... The RNLI is a volunteer lifeboat service that's often relied upon for sea rescues, funded by donations. Sean was just saying he was proud of conning a lifesaving charity basically.
omg I loved that I literally burst out laughing 😂
Qi released a tribute of some of his best bits on the show after his death it's on you tube if you haven't already reacted to it
Been missing your updated videos awhile now, just seen this best video ever you guys did now!... yet 4 months old... bad thing its f*ucked up, good thing... Ive 4 months of content 🍻
The RNLI is the Royal National Lifeboat Association. They're funded entirely by charitable donations, and save people stranded around British waters. I love that he chose them to embezzle the money from, and Henning cracking up makes it even better. 👌
"Stella" used to be a strong lager here in the UK,and nicknamed "Wife-beater"!
Guys, Guys, listen up! Watch a TV Show called '15 Stories High' it was written by Sean who also stars in it and it also stars Benedict Wong. It's a completely underappreciated masterpiece of a show. It ran for 2 seasons and it's genius! Actual genius! You are welcome
there's a supercut of the "carrot in a box" games
Love the channel guys, great stuff. You should react to the 8 Out Of 10 Cats episode after Jimmy’s tax scandal broke. The best roast ever, and Sean is on fire.
Sean Lock was the comedians comedian. Jimmy Carr used to listen to Sean’s set backstage at Live at The Apollo
You CANNOT compare Bud Light with Stella Artois. Bud is only a training beer for kids/that is if they can stand the taste
It's still gold
RNLI is Royal National Lifeboat Institution
“The real man’s road trip” go west….tv show where Sean Lock and Jon Richardson travel to the states.
Hi chaps, Try Sean Lock on The Big Fat Quiz where he dosnt like chid actors,, very funny
Compilations are great, but I think just watching the full shows is sometimes the best way to watch him at work, because of the way he just responds to things going on around him. He's not so much a monologue type comedian, but he's just generally funny to be around, quick witted and comes up with some crazy shit off the cuff. Have you guys ever actually watched a full episode of this show? It's definitely worth it to get context of the game and very randomly funny. If anything the game itself is just a platform for comedy and they don't take it very seriously compared to the daytime TV show which is very serious (and a bit dull unless you love words and numbers).
There are great British comics.....Sean Lock was the master....After he passed, Jon Richardson said how every comedian who came on "CATS" wanted to get Sean to laugh....it was considered a career highlight if he did!
Sean Lock hosted a show called 'TV Heaven, Telly Hell'. Most of it is on KZread and it's hilarious.
You have only seen the first time they played "Carrot in a box"? Not the second and third (after Sean died) time?
Have you looked at pretty old comedy too? The Fast Show, Harry Enfield, and, Tommy Cooper are 3. (Tommy Cooper performed to the end).
Stella, a strong French lager, is popularly known as "wife-beater."
Came for the rugby and stayed for the comedy. You need check out Ed Byrne (standup and MocktheWeek) and James Veitch. You guys always cheer me up.
"You can't write tears, Jimmy" - Sean Lock
If you guys haven't seen/reacted to it, there's a video on YT of an interview with Jimmy talking about his friend Sean, the episode of 8 Out of 10 Cats (not Cats Does Countdown but just Cats) the week Jimmy's taxes made the top 5 news items of the week and how not only Sean Locke but also James Corden helped him keep his career from going down the "Thomas Crapper", how Carrot In a Box would have ended up in Jimmy's waste paper bin if it hadn't been for Sean's insistence to give the idea a try, why Jimmy laughs that distinctive laugh of his, how Jimmy first got into comedy, and why he's had all that "work" done that he's always catching so much shite about. But be sure you get the long version of the video with the FULL interview 20 something minutes not one of the shorter versions that are just clips from the interview. It's BRILLIANT.
Carrot in the box. Best game ever. God rest Sean
14:15 the RNLI isn’t a tax thing, it’s the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, a lifeboat charity in the U.K. The joke’s about embezzling money from a charity, not tax avoidance.
You liked Bob Mortimer's clip, you should look at the other show that Bob started his career with Vic Reeves called Big Night Out that is even more bizarre version of Shooting Stars.
RNLI stands for Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Inland Revenue is the tax department.
Guys, I gotta tell you that there isn’t a bud light equivalent in Europe, we would be too ashamed. You guys will buy whatever big business tells you to.
Stella is the Bud Light of Europe? You have to be joking, guys!
Claudia: "stop speaking" 👌😂😂😂😂💜
Check out Sean Lock love letters
Yup, check QI Sean Lock compilations.
If you want more Sean lock give 15 storeys high a look it started off as a radio show ,and then got two series on TV it co stared Benedict Wong from Doctor strange / Spiderman/ she hulk/ Avengers.

Yup. You can always tell the real Sean fans, they all remember and loved this show. It's him at his creative best and showcases how great an actor he also was
They did this 3 times all together
a carrot is a good gift if your making a snowman
Hi, you really need to watch; Harry Secombe & Spike Milligan on Parkinson in Australia (June 1981). Spike is the last guest and really funny. If you have watched Sir Les Patterson before you will get the joke about the right trouser leg.
Seán had another children’s story (original this time) called Cyril the Screw.
I would love you guys to watch either A League of their own or the new season of Never Mind the Buzzcockes with Greg Davies 🤞🏻
The box is a euphemism for an orifice in the male body and two in the female one.
There is a carrot in the box rematch, that is worth a watch. There is a clip of both in a row on KZread
Hey guys have you ever tried to find a BBC tv show where Sean and Jon travel to the US and are filmed horse riding etc not sure what it’s called.
The spit comment is the first time he just completely ruined the whole crew. First time Jimmy had to take a break to collect himself.
RIP Sean Lock
You need to watch his sitcom, 15 Storeys High. Probably need to watch full episodes though rather than clips.

It's one of my favourite comedy series, it was very underrated due to the downbeat style. Has a surreal feel which works brilliantly (which is why it is best to binge watch it). Some great comedy cameos.
12:04 Sean missed comedy gold by naming the show _"Isle Hitler"._
there is a part 2 rematch of carrot in the box
Pretty sure Sean was a captain on Nevermind the Buzzcocks
nazi island is one of my all time panel-show favourites, so so funny man
RNLI is the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
Watch Purple Van Man his stand up show. Plenty of stuff on you tube. RIP Sean Locke
Sean Lock was a one off. 😩
Sean lock on would I lie to you, graham Norton and QI too
Bud light is pisswater compared to Stella.
🕊
I'm English I would watch that
Sean Lock on the 8 out of 10 cats xmas special with Jedward. Sean basically lost the will to have a battle of wits with people who were witless and took everyone else on the panel with him - it didn't help that Jimmy gave him a real bottle of whiskey as a present and he passed it round. I laughed till I hurt myself. I did feel bad for Jedward but their management should never have booked them on it & they just happened to represent a swathe of 'famous for no talent' people at the time that Sean had obviously had up to here & let loose. Which is probably why it's not available to watch a n y w h e r e.
Why do Americans all think the RNLI are about taxes? 😂😂 (Its pretty much the coast guard)
Who ever came up with the idea of "Carrot In a Box" needs a pay rise. He/she should get at least 20% of all the AdSense revenue of every video reaction on YT. Their whole family for 4 generations would never need to work again. hahaha
Carrot is an acceptable present in Yorkshire.. 🤔😎
Great show guys, but Bud Light is in no way comparable to Stella. I drink Heineken when I visit the states as most of your home-grown stuff (except for some of your wonderful artisinal IPA's) tastes like bath water to me. Please don't hate me, this is purely subjective. P.S. I love Bourbon which is as American at it gets. I hope that makes up a little for not liking most of your beer.
