When Magnus is talking to Lucas through the far speech stone I like to imagine he's just uncomfortably close to the director leaning in to her chest to talk. Probably at a volume that's at least 2 octaves too high.

The horn sounding things got louder and more intense, and I think there was more percussion thrown in there too. At least more audible percussion.

this story reminds me of an old Batman comic book i read (i might still have it somewhere) where a mad scientist had created some sort of liquid "formula" that would turn the entire world into some sort of white crystal if it got spilled... Batman was SO desperate to find the scientist before "the society of assassins" did the he actually teamed up with his old adversary Ra's Al Ghul! he finally caught up with the scientist on a small boat, but JUST too late, the guy was feeling suicidal because the Society had killed his friend right in front of him! fortunately, Batman and Ra's had figured out that there was ONE thing the Formula could NOT affect: Silicon. so Ra's saved earth by dumping lots of Silicon into the water around the boat. oh, and saved Batman with a special "Silicon spray" he sprayed him with earlier..
